How well will we do?

How well will we do?

Superbowl confirmed

Ceiling is NFCCG appearance. You will not get any closer to a title with Carson Palmer as your starting quarterback

Superb Owl LI winners

Palmer will get injured in week 4 against the Rams ending what would have been a great season

Fitz regresses and retires after you lose your opportunity to make the wildcard

As far as the badger takes you.

>could only manage to score 3 on the Raiders during the two 1st string vs. 1st string drives
>"elite" defense allowed 3 in those two drives
>backups got completely BTFO

and you better hope no one important gets hurt otherwise that ceiling is going to fall down hard.

Why do some franchises (Arizona, Kansas City) absolutely refuse to draft and develop their own quarterbacks?

Wrong.

The team is stacked enough and Palmer played like an MVP last year. He just needs to play at his regular season level, or even just at an okay level. Super bowl appearance very likely.

They had their best chance last year. It's just gonna be more excuses and all downhill with no young QB.

>but Palmer stubbed his toe
>t-time out, let us get healthy again

Did you watch the NFCCG last season? He played about as well as you or I would. Carolina hasn't gotten any worse, have they?

>we

palmer played his best during college

>Added Chandler Jones, Robert Nkemdiche, Brandon Williams (who looks like a serviceable rookie corner), and Marqui Christian (who looks like a serviceable DB)
>didn't lose any impact players
>best chance last year

Which of those guys is the starting quarterback?

>implying Stanton isn't a serviceable backup
>implying the reigning superbowl champs didn't win almost entirely off of their defensive prowess

>Stanton
>serviceable

Didn't he throw that awful pick to Nate Allen a couple of days ago?

>49-15
This nigga be hoping his team fields the greatest defense in NFL history.

topkek

what does one pick mean?

Wilson threw a pick on his first series too, and Dak Prescott didn't. Does that mean Dak Prescott is a better QB than Russell Wilson?

raiders are elite my man

not saying it's the buncos defense, but still probably top 5.

>Pittsburgh west
>good

yfw raiders looking bretty gud.

>inb4 mack has a career year

>One bad game where the entire fucking team pretty much gave up means he is forever a bad quarterback

Yeah ok.

Wilson did it against Chiefs starters. Stanton overthrew a ball so horribly that it got picked off by NATE ALLEN, a player who was so ass he got cut by the Iggles. He's going to get eaten alive if he ever plays a first string defense.

Part of the problem was they were trying the same offense in the regular season as they were in the playoffs. This time I think they will ease up in the regular season and start calling more run plays / screens/ short passes and take some of the load off of Palmer in the postseason. If Palmer plays like reg season palmer then no one can stop them. This is a stacked and well rounded team.

Let's go cards

That's probably what it was last year and the one before that and they shat up the place as soon as the playoffs came coming.

>nearly blowing it against the fucking Packers
>THE PACKERS

Can't speak for Arizona but KC drafted Todd blackledge in the 83 draft. He won one game. That draft had Marino, kelly, and elway in it. Ever since they've been to scared to take a risk. Kansas City only has 2 wins from a qb they've drafted in franchise history.

We all know who is winning this year. Try again after you draft a non shit QB.

They'll be 2013 Chiefs at best. The have the skeleton team but lack depth. Once Mack or smith get hurt they won't be able to out gun every team.

Good, Palmer's health and lack of depth will be the Achilles heel of this team though

It's honestly better to build a team and then get a known qb in free agency.

lol ok.

he's not a starting qb, but he is a serviceable backup. he plays better than 2015 peyton manning and brock lobster; he'll be fine.

drawing conclusions from one throw in a preseason game isn't really 'analysis'.

They are definitely going to call more run plays and pull Palmer and give stanton more play time. It's All or Nothing this year.

They're almost a free pass in the playoffs. I hope they make it to the Owl by some miracle desu.

Almost every QB that has had a chance of winning the Super Bowl recently is with the team that drafted them. Brees, Palmer, and Manning are the exceptions (and Alex Smith doesn't count, the Chiefs would be as good with many other guys).

You're going to miss a lot when you draft QBs, see Jacksonville, Cleveland. etc., but that's still the best way to do it. Quality QBs rarely become available, and you can't keep your team in a holding pattern until one does.

The cards are like the shittier Packers, if the QB goes down with injury your season is over. The problem there being that your QB is one hit from being out of the league. The defense is massively overrated, your playbook is soft, and again your defense is shit. When Russel Wilson can stiff arm your DBs you got problems.

>lack depth
Ching Chong didn't watch the game

That's If you hit on a QB though. Look at teams that keep drafting QBs and failing at it though. At some point you have to say maybe we should build a team first instead of keep on wasting 1st round picks.

Why is everyone on this board so fucking racist nowadays?

WE will be 0-16 as we do not play for the Arizona Cardinals or any professional football team for that matter

Cardinals will lose in the Division round, Carson Palmer is due for a late season

>nowadays

No it's definitely more nowadays that Sup Forums and stormfront have invaded and astroturfed here for several years.
