2 boys
3 years and 6 months old
They watch a bunch of bullshit, but I'm down with sponge bob. As they get older they can watch whatever the fuck they want. I was raised on 80s HBO and it went fine.

3 children
3 is oldest one
I only let them watch russian cartoons not even russian
I wouldn't go to strict on limits. It's better they learn to distance themselves and evaluate what they get presented while "under my guidance" than with their same aged friends. Hope that makes sense

Why the fuck would people with kids come here? Don't you have a life to live?

You have a lot to learn

Don't forget, you're here forever.

Can't wait to show my kids what not to become when they get older.

>I only let them watch russian cartoons
Wait, what?
>Hope that makes sense
I promise you it doesn't. Can you explain that a little more? Are you raising your children based on a dare?

>>How many children do you have?
1
>>How old are they?
She's 5, I'm 33
>>What kind of movies and shows do they like to watch/what do you like to watch together?
Cartoons. Together, teen titans go and powerpuff girls.
>>How do you go about exposing them to the "right" kind of movies/tv shows?
I want direct them towards shows politically and ideologically free as possible. Maybe south Park in the future.
>>What media is off limits? Are there limits?
Yes. You don't want your kids finding out about sex drugs and faggotry via tv. Media or Tv is supposed to be normal and non threatening for children.

Worker and Parasite?

The make sense part was about the while under my guidance stuff.

No I mean right now. Russian (soviet) cartoons are top comfy. That's all. Ofc they can watch other stuff when they are older.

>south park
You're talking about your wife's daughter I assume?

3 year old boy

I don't watch a lot of his stuff but he liked these when he was younger"

>sesame street (when he was a year old), daniel tiger and super why
>peppa pig, pocoyo
>cars, cars 2

now he watches some kid reality shows on youtube, paw patrol, octonauts and transformers rescue bots on

yes there are limits

When do you plan on letting your kids watch horror movies? I was seven or eight when I saw Friday The 13th part 8.

13 year old girl, I'm 34. Watches almost nothing but anime. Pretty sure it's just to spite me. As far as limits, her mom and I don't really bother since we live in the internet age and the unbound forces of human depravity are a mouse click or a tap on someone's phone away.

I have a five year old son. I used to throw on the tv instead of watching him when I was tired or busy, but as far as I know he mostly just watches cartoons of various kinds. Certain channels are blocked when he's watching so I don't really have to worry about it.

I was raised to understand that censorship was bad, and I could watch whatever I wanted as long as I proved I could handle it. Like, there was never any problem with me watching violent or sexy things because I never became violent or (too) horny. I turned out relatively fine, and I plan on loosing restrictions once my son is in middle school, like what happened with me.

>her mom and I
subtle. should've thrown in something about her boyfriend, but that might've been too obvious.

>now he watches some kid reality shows on youtube
I don't have any kids myself, but I keep hearing from my friends that do that a lot of their favorite shows are just things on youtube. Like they'll have things they enjoy on regular tv, but a lot of the time their favorite things will just be something from the internet. I guess it makes sense because it's [the current year], but something about it just feels bizarre.

my wife is having her 2nd kid next month and her oldest is 3.

we like to watch MCU movies when they come out and get them on bluray.

my wife picks the movies and controls what we watch because she has the best taste.

Christ, lmao, that was a little overkill mate.

...

I wasn't even implying that, tbph fammo hung. I made a thread with that meme once and hotpockets banned me. I didn't even realize how triggered he'd get, that faggot.

I watched south Park while you were still in daddys sack, kiddo
Take your Edge somewhere else

I have a 8yo daughter. She likes mostly Marvel and other """boyish""" stuff.
Kind of weird actually before her transition he liked Barbie etc. but I guess she outgrew it

>Parents
>On Sup Forums

I seriously fucking hope not

ur still a cuck lmao

Transitioning works in retrospect, she was a girl before as well. Respect her boundaries! NEVER, EVER call her a ''he'' again.

Epic meme

Please don't sue I'm from New York

Are you seriously 12?

>I posded it agin!

You guys are doing great. Let's really show those fuckers! How dare they have a nice civil discussion! How else can we be annoying and fuck things up? I wanna help.

Possibly. He actually might be the kid of somebody ITT tbqh.

Come down family it was just a joke. Be happy for the bumps

One kid so far, she's 5.
Second one is on the way and should arrive within a couple of months, but I'm not sure when my wife was impregnated as I wasn't there. Should be soon enough, hope it'll be a boy again this time as the first one didn't feel happy in his body.

We're all somebody's kid

>How many children do you have?

1

>How old are they?

hes almost a year old

>What kind of movies and shows do they like to watch/what do you like to watch together?

i would love to be able to have him watch something with me, but hes not really interested in anything i have on tv

i plan on some fraggle rock, mr. rogers neighborhood style shit

>How do you go about exposing them to the "right" kind of movies/tv shows?

i'll just put on stuff that i liked as a kid and hope he likes it

>What media is off limits? Are there limits?

at a young age, anything too sexual/violent. when he's older i'll go lax but explain the difference between tv and real life

You are Doing gods work here, user
Cheers

haha

I don't want my kids to watch any fiction since they shall become enlightened intellectuals as I am when they grow up. My wife thinks I am too strict though and her boyfriend let's them watch cartoons for hours when he's over. Not sure what to do. Any advice?

Have you tried killing yourself? Because that'd be the best solution.

I just realized why the cuck meme caught on so fast. It's all the permavirgins being petty at us breeders.

1 son, 16 months.

he loves peppa pig and sarah and duck. he also has an amazing interest in basketball. dubs fan from the get-go! :)

he hasn't quite figured out the remote control yet, so it's easy to limit his intake.

kinkshaming is a serious criminal offense, are you aware that you are enforcing your heterosexual normative stereotypes onto someone else? and if so, have you tried visiting a psychologist to cure you of this defect?

my kid only knows how to turn off shit

if he has the remote he hits the power button

near the tv? hits the power button

but only to turn it off, never on that little fucker

>1 daughter
>17
>porn
>muh dick
>

Resentment is the primary driving force for the majority of this sort of stuff. If you start from that principle you can figure out most stuff pretty quickly.

If only all the stuff was figured out. That'd really help us fix stuff.

ha! mine to. he loves hitting the computer power button. i think because it lights up.

semi-related, i think, he loves jerry's game, the rick and morty balloon popping game.

my wife and i haven't started censoring what we watch when he's around, though i generally turn him around when a ufc match starts to get gruesome.

This is probably it. The only other explanation I can think of is that it's a joke but why would someone make a joke on Sup Forums of all places.

>i generally turn him around when a ufc match starts to get gruesome.
How do you know when to do that? I realize that sounds insanely autistic, but how do you know when something has crossed that threshold into "Okay, he should not be seeing this" territory?
