Unpopular Opinions That are True

Here's two to start you off:

The Force Awakens was a really good movie that introduced some great characters and stayed true to the original trilogy. Despite it being a reboot of ANH, it added enough of it's own flair to stay entertaining and make you yearn for the next installment.

New Ghostbusters movie doesn't look all that bad. Some of the jokes are corny but it looks like they put a good deal of effort into making it halfway decent. Only fanboys who jerk off to the originals can't fathom women being cast as the leads

I hope you eventually have children, and then you watch them die slowly, and painfully in front of you.

Daniel Craig is hands down the best bond.

After some recent threads, I guess saying that I liked The Martian is unpopular. I also really liked Prometheus a lot.

Dalton, Connery and Craig are the best bonds

The new ghostbusters looks like garbage but garbage that's nothing special, all the posts and fights about it are over kill

I like brosnan more, but he definitely isn't bad and probably a close second for me.

Get Hard was great

>being this angry

apologize or face my wrath

>stayed true to the original trilogy
In the original trilogy the characters had to work together and help each other. At varying points each character had to save the other(s), no one character was singularly powerful enough to constantly save the day.

The complete opposite of TFA where Rey has the magic solution to everything.

Thanks, and you.

The all female cast isn't the prime issue, but it's the easiest for the media and retarded fucks to pay attention to.

...

I loved Prometheus too user

I don't give a fuck about female leads. Spy was fucking hilarious.

I care about a gigantic shitty dump being taken on the ghostbusters trilogy.

Brosnan had better looks for sure.

...

Female Leads are fine but I hate Macarthy.

>it added enough of its own flair
>its own flair

Iron Man 3 is a good movie.

ur right about TFA

ur wrong about ghostbusters, it looks like rank ass

The issue isn't female leads, it's the fact that it's a reboot that literally ignores the first two movies: it's an alternate universe where the original Ghostbusters never existed. The original cast are playing cameos but as completely unrelated characters

OP is not actually a faggot

Spotted the faggot

and no, no opinions are """""true"""""" but yours are really shit

first half hour of Prometheus was flawless. rest of the movie was pretty good too until the end

correct

he's right about TFA but dead wrong about GB.

fight club is a good movie

Skyfall was fucking great imo, I don't get the hate besides from basic contrarianism.

>TFA
>Great characters
>Implying it didn't run on the popularity of the OT characters at every chance

These two films were really good.

word

awful bait

WarCraft is on par with the LOTR

Into Darkness is only 'okay.'

It's not terrible, it's better than most modern blockbusters.

Yeah and he's got the biggest cock too.

The Blackgate speech was one of the best scenes in the series.

Deadpool wasn't Reddit at all.

I like Dalton and Connery more, but he's definetly great,

i have a hardon for shane black

TFA is not good. The only things it has going for it are the effects, good chemistry between actors, and a pace quick enough to distract from how little sense it makes.

anyone with taste does.

- Star wars:

Good tier: 5
Decent tier: 7>4
Bad tier: 3>6
Shit tier: 1>2

- Buñuel is the best dead director and Lars von Trier is just a pretentious hack

Boyhood was the worst award-contending film and one of the worst films overall in 2014.

>Bad tier: 3>6

Low quality bait.

>The Force Awakens was a really good movie

and that's when I stopped reading

i enjoy rick and morty
ive never seen any back to the futures and dont really feel like it at this point.

whenever I see that title I read it as "Star: Trek Into Darkness"

>Lars von Trier is just a pretentious hack

this

>craig
>bond

There was good chemistry between Poe and Finn, and between Han and chewie, that's about it

Was it autism?

The first half of this is definitely bait. The second half is next level bait, but still pretty bad. 4/10 tops.

This is Kubrick's best work

...

>Cast as the fictional British secret agent James Bond in October 2005, his first film in the role, Casino Royale, was released internationally in November 2006.

Should have named this thread "we trigger Sup Forums with the objective truth".

Wrong, that is Eyes Wide Shut.

Iron Man 2 and Thor 2 are actually pretty decent as far as capeshit goes

It wasn't that great but it was better than The Lost World and III.

Sin City is the best comic book movie

No, Iron Man 2 is a disaster.

Iron Man 2 has some editing problems, but it's enjoyable for the most part. Justin Hammer was funny.

Iron Man 3 is great.

You're doing God's work son.

The unrated cut of "Live Free or Die Hard" is a fantastic action movie, and on par with "Die Hard With A Vengeance"

Predator 2 is a great and worthy sequel to the original

The new Ninja Turtles movie is fun, as was its predecessor

Tarantino's films are pretty good.

Temple of Doom is shit.

There is a difference between an opinion and stupidity.

You could simply say:

>I enjoyed TFA

Instead, you try to label it as a good film, which it isnt, on any level. The only good thing about TFA, is that Ford wont be in the next one.

The Phantom Menace is the best in the prequels.

RotS is highly-overrated.

You're trying to label it as a bad film and it isn't on any level.

Spectre is a fucking great Bond film.

It's so damn refreshing to see a Bond film again that doesn't take itself very seriously, it's really really funny and the visuals are top notch.

I like previous 3 for what they are, but they're all just grimdark Dark Knight style takes on the films, I much prefer the half comedy/half serious tone they struck with Spectre.

BvS was a great movie.

"patrician" cinema is boring as fuck

TWD and GOT are good shows, people just cry because they dont like modern attitudes being thrown into popular shows.

Fury Road was not a movie about feminism

Sup Forums opinions are about being as edgy and hipster as possible, Sup Forums is literally roodit 2.0

The Force Awakens was mediocre, but it did make you yearn for the next installment because Luke will be in it

I love 80's action and sci-fi but Predator id shit

The last season of TWD was just filler with cliff hangers, it wasn't nearly as good as season 5

This is the best movie in the franchise.

Kingdom of Heaven didn't have any flaws.

It has issues, but I enjoyed it.

It's a step down from Skyfall, but overall a 7.5/10 for me.

Not nearly as bad as people here make it out to be. Everything is either the best movie ever made or unwatchable garbage on Sup Forums for some reason. People here struggle to find a middle ground.

a-alright satan, if you say so.

i coudlnt continue watching after the scene were he meets the woman in her house early in the movie.
seemed pretty dull to me.

Thor 2 was the reason I stopped going to cape movies. I haven't gone to one since.

The Witch will go down as one of the best horror films ever made after Rosemary's Baby and the Exorcist.

It's definitely a slower outing, I'm not knocking you or anything but it does require a long attention span to get though.

Don't get me wrong, that's more of the movie's problem though, not yours.

My dad was bored of it but I enjoyed it. It's not for everybody. It's very divisive.

Aye, i could see that as i went into it. I generally dont have problems with movies that require a long attention span but there was something about it that just made me lose interest. Perhaps i was just not feeling it that day.
Gonna give it another shot today i think.

I just thought of it as a fever dream of bond worst fears coming true. The third act feels like a nightmare going on in bond's head. It has a very dreamlike quality to it.
