Anything DDL is an instant yes.

Imagine if DDL/PTA become the old DeNiro/Scorsese

DDL acting really shines through with PTA directing.

pta gets such amazing shots

Daniel was a fucking demon is this movie

And I wonder if they will take it the comedy route that PTA can do really well. I think Boogie Nights is the best blending of comedy and drama of any film I've seen.

Aw shit I'm hyped

What is movie worthy about 1950s fashion? Will DDL play a designer or something?

DDL in a comedic role would be interesting to see.

FUCK YES

All these sites reporting it.

>checks slashfilm

Capeshit. Bravo.

You haven't seen There Will Be Blood?

DDL was basically a real life Bugs Bunny in that movie

>i judge films based on subject matter instead of presentation

Top fucking pleb lmao

ehh.....I guess........................

Fucking hype

Time to vaguely google "1950's fashion"

Seriously what's so special about that?

great
another snoozefest and since it's PTA it will just be DDL hamming it up for 2 and a half hours with no actual payoff

Coco Chanel, Christian Dior, Cristobal Balenciaga, Pierre Balmain and Jaques Fath were the top 5 designers during the 1950s. Which one is DDL playing?

I know, it will be glorious

Hopefully one of the males...

>DDL hamming it up for 2 and a half hours once every five years

I'm ok with this.

...

And such amazing performances from his actors
Inherent Vice was brilliantly comedic as well
>PTA
>No payoff
It's like you're a pleb or something.

Here's an great video on PTA's themes and characters connecting through his timeline.

>Spend two years "preparing" for a role
>Give a performance Ralph Fiennes or Patrick Stewart could improvise after five minutes with a dialect coach

Why does reddit pretend DDL isn't an overrated meme actor?

Everything's in those eras are so special cuz we didn't have anything that transcend information so fast back then. Things were fabed up than the way it suppose to. That kind of social attitudes created the legends, larger than the life user. I also am pumped to see how PTA depicts those glamorous period!!!

DADDY PAY ATTENTION TO ME

DDL looks like a mong without facial hair tbqh

Wait user !! Who is going to handle Daniel's shoe business while a dude is away. That is a major issue Paul gotta clear at 1st place (笑´・艸・) Kek

He vapes. What a cunt.

Didn't Chanel, Dior, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Balenciaga about to blow up at that time?

>to err is human in Latin
>those gay ass shallows on his throat

Lol

Even in the comment section people shits on him lmao

Boy I can't wait for those Altman imitation flicks again

Should we go to /fa/gs with this?

I don't mind, those people seems much less annoying compared to Sup Forums

Don't know how accurate this is, but a lot of it makes sense. Coinciding with the rising middle class, Baby Boomers, and return from WW2, we have older men stay the same, but for the first time in almost 30 years people can afford to dress more flashy. Older men stayed the same, but the younger generation of course wanted to break away from all the monotony and led into 60s counter culture I'm guessing.

>This could have been the one movie where PTA casts DDL and PSH together

You're missing Saint Laurent and Givenchy, he was bros with Balenciaga, 50's was literally the golden years for Fashion

Shit is interesting. thx user

>Anything DDL is an instant yes.

Nine was absolute shit

If Daniel is coming back he'll have to have a man with class to rival him on screen once again.
Pure kino awaits boys

What PTA regulars do you want to see back in his films? I loved Philip Baker Hall , Julianne Moore, and Melora Walters. Maybe he can get the Cruise man again too.

PTA's best scenes:

I loved PSH in this. A lot of pta fans haven't even seen Hard Eight yet.

Has anyone seen the similarities of The Master to Baraka?
