When are you going to admit that Attack of the Clones is pure kino?

When are you going to admit that Attack of the Clones is pure kino?

It looks amazing, I've never thought otherwise
Everything else was awful

>I dont listen to the talkie noises I just watch the pictures!

That grid looks like shit, here's a better one

This. I rewatched the pt recently and TPM, while often cringey, is fairly comfy, and RotS has many very very good moments, albeit in between other unbelievable inconstant and poorly done scenes.

AotC is the only one that's truly a chore to sit through. Which is too bad, because it looks nice and the fucking SOUND DESIGN is amazing. As are the locations and ideas. The execution was so awful though, and it was a truly boring movie.

Are you joking? Half of those shots aren't remotely interesting

This is the comfiest meme t b h

Does anyone have ones for the other movies?

...

...

Yeah, cuz I made 'em

I've actually come to love Attack of the Clones, I feel like it was the most ambitious of the prequels. Heavily flawed, but I appreciated the attempt to inject some new elements and tropes into the Star Wars mythology.

I mean the first chunk of the movie is a political suspense thriller with a buddy cop thing going on between Anakin and Obi Wan, that was great! But of course stuff like Anakin and Padme's romance really brings the movie down.

Also Anakin's mother spending god knows how long being raped by sand people was pretty fucked up. I thought Hayden did a great job there.

>"I killed them all...the women and the children...they were ANIMALS!"

Wow they look really nice. RotS?

your layout is better, but I preferred the other guy's image selection

There is more to cinematography than pretty still shots you fuckin plebs

not to mention a lot of these look awful in motion because it's just actors in front of a green screen

...

Tbh I thought Hayden did a fine job. Especially in RotS there are some more nuanced things he did that are actually really nice

...

ESB>NH>RotJ>RotS>FA>PM>CW

is that corridor at the end of the room a fucking painting?

how do you grid films?

Thanks friend. Here's a behind the scenes pic of Anakin from RoTS.

>I made them
stick to the layout without borders please

You do realize a lot of the prequels were actual sets, right?

>not putting the title in French, Japanese or Cyrillic alphabet
You're so close to perfection

dat sand doe

...

This is acceptable, though personally I'd go

IV>V>III=VI>VII>I>II

But let's try to keep this from becoming a "SW ranking competition" thread.

You mean the black bars? I intend to in future but who actually gives a toss

Also, have a Force Awakens one

...

Where can I make these grids?

>wide shots = kino

This is why we need feminism

Pure kino

befunky.com/create/collage/

Just take snapshots from the movie(s)

>a lot

Except they fucking weren't. Phantom Menace had a few, and some of the aotc Tatooine and Naboo sets were real, but other than that they were almost entirely CGI

it looks better without them

Geonosis was mainly miniatures bro

I actually like the black bars OP

>playing this in republic commando
Goat

cause you're pleb

God damn that looks bad. It looks like a fucking cartoon.

Yeah some of the shots look too jarring directly next to each other and the bars help break it up

Dis nigga...

Also, can we all agree that The Room is pure kino of the highest order

That just means your arrangement is shit, no bars is the superior choice

Not really, it's totally dependent on the shots and the colour palettes. AotC is pretty wild and stark in its use of colour, so it's difficult to get the shots to look cohesive

...

>missing the tracking shot of the party
pls

Please don't argue, let's get back to posting grids.

I think Episode 2 was the first movie I ever was angry at in the cinema. And I was only 15 back then.

Tommy is basically unable to focus the camera so 90% of shots are a fucking blur. Finding any usable stills was fucking difficult enough

>when you put in my mixtape

I find your lack of bars disturbing

...

>i intend to remove the black bars in the future
>I find your lack of bars disturbing
stick to one opinion at at time, reddit

>at at
Nice pun

What Clone Wars episode is this.

Chill the fuck out, I never said the black bars were superior, just that they looked nice. On a chart with bright stills, it provides nice contrast.
