y is lauren martin always datin blak guys
yeah I really like them. It's really hard to find complaints about them. Nothing they write feels like it's pandering or bait, they always feature great artists from a variety of genres and they write with a genuine passion.
Plus they recommend a whole lot of great tunes each issue.
And a free mix each month!
All for a fiver!
:3
Last thread was good, let's have another.
whats the Good Morning Captain of bleep?
alright lads
And if they do neither?
youtube.com
v. cool tune :)
i want to agree and still do to some extent, but i'd point to if someone does have a genuine interest then hopefully a brief introduction should foster that, if it's just Sup Forums tourism for an eclectic-looking 5x5 chart then they'll take one look and say fuck it, and everyone else here will tell them to fuck off anyway lls
Lol! What is this shit? Hipster drivel. No Skrillex, deadmau5, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Armin Van Burren means the your taste is is invalid. Ignoring trance, trap and EDM is profoundly absurd. They're the genres that made electronic music what it is today
>Gqom Oh! to release 8-track EP from Dominowe
yes mate
I don't think Harry is black
Or is he?
just call them a pardner, everyone hates that
found it cause of you and the helpful user that pointed you towards the right tune ~uwu~
desu most "gqom" is a bit too edmy for my tastes
Poor bait user
Hey Guys, need a bit of advice and this seems to be the place
Me and three of my friends are going to see Steve Aoki on Friday in Vegas
Would one cap of molly be enough or should we get two? I don't do drugs
lads the bait in this thread.... i dont know if.... i can make it......
not even baiting, it's just a bit too much for me
Where are you from out of interest? It's fascinating to me that gqom is getting popular in other countries
I'M GONNA PUT ON AN IRON SHIRT
awesome i think you should just pop them all
hey man, could you maybe tell me what bait is? and what does lurking mean?
didn't realise how popular it was desu
~£30 for a copy now rahh
>tfw listening to Objekt
people still listen to objekt?
get at the very least 3 and a bottle of robitussin each 2bh
youtube.com
>tfw shitting on good artists
Damn, I wish I had read the thread before posting my bait, its like 50% of the content
Well, see yous next week

SA

!!!!!! omg be careful where you post that
Literally can't understand how you could call gqom EDM-y with the syncopated kicks and melodic sparseness, lack of drops etc.. Cool if you don't like it but for me it's the dark, underground hypnotic sound which makes it so massive. If anything it's almost too raw.
London innit, can't wait to see some gqom nights here if/when they happen. You south African?
i still feel so anxious inna dance
Oh shit, whereabouts?
My father from Durban, my favourite city in the world
(I'm not who you were originally replying to btw)
...
yeah south african
It's a Durban thing, not really popular anywhere else. But it's cool to see African music in /bleep/. Been lurking here on and off for the past two and a bit years and there's understandably not much from our part of the world.
>if/when they happen
It already happened, how did you miss out?!
keep it close mucka, extremely special tune
shame because the rest of spurz' tunes range from mediocre to bad lool
Cape Town. I'm guessing you stay in the UK too?
That's cool. The amazing thing about SA to me is that house is totally mainstream there, like the main pop genre. Pretty cool compared to its niche status in Europe and the US. Like I was listening to one of the gqom guys talk about how people thought he was stupid making the stuff as all the money is in being a big house producer and partnering with a famous singer.
I know, talking about this year mate. Didn't discover the stuff until recently!
mans got a laptop ya know
Glad trump is picking a defense secretary who feels baseball bats and scary looking dogs are not enough for proper security desu

>understandably not much from our part of the world

and the biggest people like Black Coffee and Culoe De Song play every once in a while (none of the Soul Candi lot though, unfortunately)
but yeah I guess people don't post much of it here
Yep, originally from Eldos
electronic music is shit
:(
not from london, but there should be - or have been - some gqom nights, i mean it has really been hyped during the last couple of years
True. Like the biggest exports this decade have been house acts - Black Coffee, Culoe De Song and Black Motion. There's no particular age group for it. You could be having lunch with your aunts/uncles and cousins and there'll be house playing.
why dont you focus on your own shit politics britbong
>not realising 'peerblock' is a GCHQ botnet
lmao
>gqom EDM-y
the synth lead in just sounds a bit bait
not in the way it's used but in its sonic components
im feeling the immensity of death lads
good take some dmt
Yeah, Harry's black
>when he doesn't browse /ck/
>it has really been hyped during the last couple of years
That's the thing, magazine hype doesn't translate to fans. As much as the media love to dissect Gqom or the Principe stuff and marvel at how they defy the "local scenes are dead" rule and all that, the fact remains that there aren't enough people in London who'd pay to see these artists. Who can afford to fly someone over from SA to play to 100 people?
>not having a gf who cooks for you
ck confirmed for most beta board of all time
>Black Coffee
first heard this guy on my local black-oriented community radio station years ago
GREAT SHIT
Where is s/t
>tfw gf is mediocre at cooking
might have to end it :S
but cooking is the easiest thing to get good at
super cool and original opinion there friendo, i bet you're great at parties
>gf
hahahahahahahahaha jokes innit
i'm a pathetic shit
>there's a lot of pics of people posing in front of mona lisa
all my texts from the last 6 months are from my mum, my sister or the jobcenter beat that
probably true, i just feel that's a thing that could be said about a lot of experimental/underground electronic artists, but yet i still see many of them doing shows around the world.
however i only saw dj niggafox once at roskilde festival in 2014, and i havent really heard about a lot of shows in this part of europe so you're probably right
also fuck those fucking shit captchas with street signs, it's so fucking random how they want you to mark them
i'd rather a sister than a gf desu
at least they kind of make sense for streetmapping, it's the indoor seating area ones that kill me
nah
sis is aight but gf better
I think it needs more local DJs to be adventurous with what they play (like Pearson Sound)
Yeah but that's a track commissioned for the savefabric compilation, most of the tunes in that are bait af
s/t is nice

ffs if bassline becomes the next Americanized EDM trend I will literally neck myself
trip back on spyro
t. Dubman
God I just I could be like Burial.
>Release a masterpiece album
>It's a modern classic and becomes hugely influential
>Spend rest of time playing Dark Souls and releasing low stakes experimental eps
how does this not sound like the comfiest existence. I wish I could cement a musical legacy with a classic album and then just do whatever the fuck I wanted for the rest of my life :/
t. s/t
omd i can really see this happening
It's already happened, look at shit like Jauz. Like EDM meets bassline.
