Help a brother out Sup Forums

So I currently have four series lest on my "to watch" list but can't seem decide which one I should watch first. The four series are: DaVinci's Demons, Marco Polo, Black Sails and Vikings. Which is superior? Am I fucked?

Can't comment on the other three but you can't go wring with Vikings. It was a lot better than I thought it would be, then I chain-watched three seasons over the course of two days, then life felt empty without it.

DaVinci has based Goyer. Black Sails is the usual porn with a plot starz shit. Don't know about the other two.

DaVinci's -just watch season 1
Vikings - gave up after season 1 not sure if it got better.
Have not see the others.

Silly to Serious:
DD
BS
MP
Vikings

Depends on what you're looking for and what strains of autism you suffer from. JUST to let you know The Last Kingdom may be worth looking at too

By "silly" do you mean "historically inaccurate"? Are you one of those reddity goofballs who claim that the shape of a helmet bothers their le history degree ocd?

Blacks sails is the best of the bunch no question.

Can't help you there. First season of Black Sails is shit but after that they're pretty much tied.

vikings>black sails = marco polo > davinci imo

Black Sails is outstanding, I really enjoyed Marco

All four shows are awful. Don't waste your time.

I've only seen Black Sails and Vikings, and though season 1 wasn't great, I found Black sails to be far better than Vikings.

You have shit taste.
You should watch The Americans, The Sopranos, The Wire and Oz.

They're all shit, fuck you

Davinci's Inquest

Haven't seen the DaVinci stuff, but of the three remaining, Black Sails is by far the best. Vikings is okay, but gets progressively worse as the series goes on. Marco Polo can be fun at times, but didn't really grab me.

>defending literal SJW tier TV series

Black Sails is oh so progressive with its queer camptain and strong independent womyn, which Vikings also touches upon, with the historically accurate rendition of shield maidens, and how actually womyn warriors were the secret to viking success.

Marco Polo is simply garbage, and Davinci's Demons? Image says it all.

>The Americans is good
nice meme you fuckhole.

>why are they talking?
>where are the explosions?
>who are the bad guys?
>I'm boooored

Literal child. You have school in the morning, fuck off.

it's litteral homeland-tier though.

Vikings > DaVinci> Marco Polo

>Goyer
Is that slang like Shylocking?
>you sure swindled that Goy! You Goyer!

1.DaVinci's Demons
2.Vikings
3.Marco Polo
4 Black Sails

>"I watch shit shows so that I can mistake their slow af pacing with "deep, layered characterization" and feel smarter than I am"
You are the reason TV sucks. I bet you love Breaking Bad.

It's literally better than any other series airing at this moment.
Well written, in-depth characters, clever plot build ups and payoffs.

But I guess you prefer simple action scenes with "epic" fights, which is ok.
Mouth breathers need entertainment too.

It literally is deep and layered characterization though.
Give me an example that says otherwise.

I'll be waiting.

>>you sure swindled that Goy! You Goyer!
Underrated post.
Patrician list.

You missed the point. I was using quotation marks to underline the fact that "deep and layered characterization" is a memephrase. Characterization is not an art. In fact, most series do it perfectly, because it's not the hard part. It's never been. I don't even know where this notion originated.
