Alright lads, another bagamb bread :DDDDDD Last one is stagnant and will eventually die unless someone forcebumps it thinking it will make a difference.
Question: Were you influenced by artists you don't really love anymore? e.g. like being the talentless bassist of a high school nu metal tribute band? :^)
>Were you influenced by artists you don't really love anymore? Not really, but in the early years I really wanted to make black metal in the style of Burzum. I still love Vikernes' music, but I don't feel the need to play any kind of metal music anymore. I'll leave it to the talented guys.

>semi lo fi DIY avant pop experimental schlock >the occasional sound collage/field recordings >esoteric instrumentation, unusual timbres >crunchy amateur walls of sound, colors, etc >pre-pubescent Wayne Coyne vocals
>Were you influenced by artists you don't really love anymore? e.g. like being the talentless bassist of a high school nu metal tribute band? :^) Yes, I probably wouldn't like my music if someone else made it.
The new LP has roughly 9 tracks so far but I'm making more as I go. It will be a fairly long one this time but some tracks have been cut down since I can't perform the guitar parts.
>pychedelic bummer pop It kind of goes all over the place but whatever, I like music that does that. Its also free if you like it
> Were you influenced by artists you don't really love anymore? I still retain some level of affection for the stuff I used to listen to so it easy to take things I like from it.

Dang I missed this when I posted a moment ago.
My first album didn't really have influence besides traditional festival tunes, then I put out a single influenced heavily by jangle pop like The Smiths and Prefab Sprout, then came my more synthpop album that I was influenced by 80s movie soundtracks.
Ultimately my current project is influenced by some old posters from here, so if anyone hears something like what they'd make, it's probably based on them.
