Musician deaths you can't get over

Post cases which you still can't cope with.

Yeah, most of the time when an artist dies it doesn't affect me, but david bowies death sure did. Whenever i hear starman it brings me tears.

i didn't even know he died

I still can't fathom

its even worse if you watch his interviews. like the one where he talks about the pixies. and you see such a fun, witty, charismatic, humble, generous and intelligent individual talking about music he loves.

Unless you knew him personally, you are pathetic.

>when someone watches IHE

I remember that morning. I cried like a bitch at the (green) stoplight when they announced it.

RIP man

I just got really into VU's White Light/White Heat and then I found out that Lou Reed died

it sucked

Leonard Cohen's death is still eating away at me. I listened to his stuff all the time but never truly appreciated it until after he passed

how so? I didn't know him, but his music touched me on a personal level.

Kirk Cobait

Piotr Grudzinski, Riverside's guitarist. Feels bad man.

>tfw didn't know who he was til he died cause listen to niche shit

Absolutely him

>Long-time drug user
>Had a terrible period during the eighties
>Released an album summarising his entire career

At least be thankful he lasted you that long, op, and also be thankful that he gave you something awesome before kicking the bucket.

who is this

...

Came here to post this
He was only 40

this

>hear some cool shit
>huh, what's this?
>it's Sublime
>cool, I like it, start reading about them
>Bradley Knowles died the year I was born
:(

Got into Ramones a few years back, makes me sad that they're all dead, too.

The real big one is going to be Iggy Pop, though. I hope I can get to see him before he goes.

I like his music too, but grieving over the death of someone you didn't know is pretty cringy.

Iggy Pop will outlive us all.
