ETIQUETTE - Include correct format (artist / band, title of release, year of release, cover art, the file type (v0, 320 mp3, FLAC, etc), short description, YouTube sample, link) - Send thanks if you have downloaded something to let them know they did a good thing - Avoid sharing / requesting things that are already on the archive - Soulseek / rutracker are your friends, too - just don't argue in this thread about it - No samples on YouTube, Soundcloud? Drag'n'drop any mp3 on clyp.it
REQUESTS >I have a request! Did I... - Check the archive for a live link before requesting? - Share something first? - Google "blogspot + artist name + album name"
ARCHIVE >"I don't know how to find what I'm looking for in the archive" - Go here: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>archive.rebeccablacktech.com/mu/ - When searching, limit your search to links only, like so: "desired album mega|zippyshare|mediafire" - Make sure you've typed "zippyshare" and not "zippy", or else Zippyshare links will not be found.
This is sharethread, can I share my good free bandcamp finds here, or should I go to bandcamp thread? Anyway >polish, lo-fi, piano, creative commons pojwlkp.bandcamp.com/album/pok-j-w-deszczu

Kevin Garcia
Does anybody have any Johnny Rebel? The archive needs some Johnny Rebel
I maintain the /diy/ sticky on /fa/ and I'm looking for a better site to host my files. At the moment I use zippyshare, but I don't want to update the links every month and it isn't neatly arranged. I used MEGA, but my account got deleted.
Should I use MEGA again or something else?
Juan Butler
Solid Space - Space Museum [1982] >Minimal Synth, Minimal Wave, Post-Punk
honestly there aren't that many good long-term sites to upload shit too besides MEGA, unless you either wanna go torrent route or somehow host your own website it's probably the best bet.
Oliver Cox
i used to use mediafire, got one dmca take down for a file but everything else stayed intact. surely there's a reason nobody uses it anymore though?
Robert Reed
Anyone?
Noah Cook
I'd love

>Ice T - O.G.
this is a huge touchstone album for me, I'll up it for you.
Ice-T - O.G. Original Gangster (1991) [256 kbps]
>rap, hip hop, west coast
the reasons for you DLing this are twofold: Ice T's lyrics and magnetic charisma, and Africa Islam's completely bananas production
For all y'all who only know Ice T as a washed up rapper on a tv cop show, I admonish you to listen this sample youtube.com/watch?v=bc5RXiTJFrA
the skills are legit
as for Africa Islam, he was a New Yorker, a member of the Zulu Nation with all the arcane record knowledge that comes with that. He applied that to the latest ideas in production, which in 1991 meant the style characterized by the Bomb Squad (the production unit of Public Enemy who also did Cube's Amerikkkas Most Wanted). While not affiliated with them, he marries their aggressive sound and sampling collage techniques with a library full of classic funk. These beats are the dope.
I ordered this album off amazon because nobody had a DL and just one song was available online, So here is the full album and a DL.I made another share thread but this came first and this seems to have more shit and it's presented nicer so here.
use mediafire, as long as the name isn't too obvious it will literally never get taken down
there are links still up on old blogs from like 2007 and its because they name the zip files discreetly, e.g. random strings of numbers or abbreviations

DJ Screw - Bigtyme Recordz Vol II: All Screwed Up (1995)
lol why? that guy made that alice in wonderland thing which was a neat video then just remade the same song over and over. good for him for making a living i guess but his entire popularity is built onto the popularity of disney
Does anyone have the soundtrack for the video game Spongebob Squarepants: Battle For Bikini Bottom?
Bentley Sanders
hi Pogo! yeah, post your new album i'm interested
Matthew Scott
Already did m8. I legit think it's his best btw
Ethan Cox
why are you reading so much into it, the dude makes odd music sampling movies that aren't all disney. you seem not to like it.
Dylan Foster
The Gil Evans Orchestra – Plays The Music Of Jimi Hendrix >Jazz, Funk / Soul Jimi Hendrix was scheduled to record with Gil Evans' Orchestra but died before the session could take place. A few years later, Evans explored ten of Hendrix's compositions with his unique 19-piece unit, an orchestra that included two French horns, the tuba of Howard Johnson, three guitars, two basses, two percussionists and such soloists as altoist David Sanborn, trumpeter Marvin "Hannibal" Peterson, Billy Harper on tenor, and guitarists Ryo Kawasaki and John Abercrombie.
This is very good. Just want to say, thank you for making it creative commons. Nicest stuff I've listened to in a while. Please keep making.
Jaxson Foster
Honestly one of my favourite albums.
William Bell
>check Brazil tag >only good albums are Sergio Mendes and A Peleja Do Diabo Com O Dono Do Céu They don't even have Bacamarte wtf

Giles Corey - Hinterkaifeck Mass of the Fermenting Dregs - World is Yours Midori Mogwai - Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will
I would really like these. But I understand if that's asking too much. If that's the case, I'd like them in this order of preference. I don't have much to offer, but take a look if you want.
The Nice - The Thoughts of Emerlist Davjack (Deluxe Edition) [1967] >progressive rock, british psychedelia, considered one of the first progressive rock albums, Keith Emerson's first band
