The show is so fucking hyperbolic, they depict Sherlock's character as some kind of supernatural deduction machine. I mean, he does some crazy stuff in the books too, but the show takes it way too far.
Oh, I agree with you completely. But have you considered what you gonna do once you move there? Do you know Japanese? Can you get a proper job there? Where will you live?
All I'm saying is that you need to be realist and first look at these kind of things carefully, outside the "weeb lens".
I'm learning Japanese to the best of my ability in my free time. Might go during break in uni there for a month or two just to try out and get the feel of it, travel around too. I've definitely not decided to just outright move and live there since I'm not prepared yet and I don't want to be like those obnoxious weebshits who sometimes move there.
It just seems to me that I would have been better off born in Japan since I don't really fit in/get with the vibe here in Britain. Maybe that outlook will change since the grass is always greener on the other side, but only Japan has really sparked my interest and comfyness. Germany came close but shits going down there.
