for all the hurr violent cartoon omg shit it encourages, i love the rabbit-lore it has, it tells a tight story, and bright eyes gave me feels

I liked the mythology, Bigwig and Woundwort were cool.
>that ending scene always gets to me.

Great film. Have my doubts that a modern series will be any good though.

Fantastic story about the essence of leadership.
Forging a family on the very edge of survival, making a good life in an extremely deadly world.
It's probably my all-time favorite animated film.

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE FUCKING DON'T TOUCH IT FUCK BBC JEWS.

I will CHEER and be AMAZED if the new shit improves on literally any aspect of this classic.

it'll be shit

The BBC and it's ingrained political correctness will ruin it. Like it does with everything it fucking touches.

disturbing. A children's movie it was not.

This is not a kid's movie

Who were they appealing to with the subtle noose around his neck on the poster?

I loved the book, easily one of my favorites of all time. I haven't seen any of the adaptations. Maybe I'll watch this one.

its gonna be toned-down and more "accessible" full of funny quips and free of any artistic merit.

Don't forget Bigwig is black now

Why do they keep putting that nigger in absolutely everything?

That fucking ending! Oh my God! Yeah, this cannot be improved upon in any way.

>That moment Hazel prays, Conan-style, before the final battle, and the living God IMMEDIATELY responds with an answer ... "deal with it"

It is kino.
Dat watercolor

Crom intervened like a bitch to save his favorite mortal.

Speaking as an obnoxious bookfag,
I will need to read the book before I comment. That way I can inform the showplebs that their opinions are both inferior and pathetic compared to my scholastic achievement reading the unabridged print edition.

Watched it as a kid because my parents thought it was a cuddly bunny movie. It was disturbing. Now it's in my top ten.

I always thought this was a submarine movie

You JUST know the BBC is going to throw everything that was good about right out the fucking window, and fill it with pure cultural marxism cancer instead

...

>that plot about them not being able to get females so they try to free some pet-rabbits but they are too dumb to understand freedom.

yeah i cant see this still being in the show.

>won't shy away from the darkness in the book
>he noted that "visually it won't be as brutal and scarring"

so they won't water it down but also they will

>Watership Down TV-series

But there already was one.

After looking up clips on YouTube, it looks pretty fucking intense for an animated show for children, very much in the spirit of the movie.
