This isn't sad but it always gets my emotions going.
The reason it makes me cry is because it resonates with me so much. I'm the same age as Luke and stuck in a shitty deadend life and I want to go on an adventure and reach my potential more than anything. Seeing a youthful Luke look into the horizon and let his imagination run wild and dream of greater things while being frustrated trying to escape his current existence is something I can relate to.

it's a fucking incredible movie. It looks like a kids movie, but I don't think most kids would get it.
It probably didn't get great reviews because film critics are normies, and it's a rather dark movie about a deep sense alienation that stars a talking bird.

I was just thinking how I've never once been able to sleep with in a bed with a girl like that. I can't fall asleep while I'm touching someone. Inevitably a body part falls asleep or she distracts me too much
