'10s hip hop

Has a new version of this been made yet?

I volunteer my services to make one! What do y'all want included in the new '16 row?

(I'm gonna guess Untitled Unmastered and TLOP right off the bat)

assuming this was made in '15 i'd say that you might want to wait 3 more years for the next one to be made just for that equal feel.
5 years for early 10's and 5 years for late 10's.

fucking backpack hip hop

>Cherry Bomb is on here but neither Wolf or Goblin
Whether you like or dislike Tyler's music in general, Cherry Bomb is still objectively his worst album

>Cherry Bomb is still objectively his worst album
If it's worse than Goblin I'm the god damn Pope.

Anyway, making the chart now. Feel free to start listing off picks for favorite 16' albums. (I got a while to go filling the others)

>death grips
>tyler the creator

>objectively
who the fuck are you

Wolf by Tyler BELONGS on that list especially considering the current selection of albums for 2013 sucks dick.

At least Goblin had effort put into it, I hear next to no effort put into Cherry Bomb

>who the fuck are you
An anonymous shitposter, just like you

You're taking the Death Grips sucks meme too seriously.

atrocity exhibition, rtj3, aesop rock, new apollo brown and skyzoo record, homeboy sandman, injury reserve for 2016

but they actually do

Personally I don't really think that Untitled Unmastered should be on it because its basically just compilation of leftover tracks, but its fine if people really want to. But some stuff I might include are Honor Killed the Samurai, Still Brazy, We got it from here, Atrocity Exhibition, Prima Donna, Splendor & Misery, Slime Season 3, and The Impossible Kid

Sorry to say your opinion is the minority here then. Overruled.

>meme

>At least Goblin had effort put into it
>The worst beats tyler ever made compared to the best compositions in his career on Cherry Bomb.

....Let's agree to disagree.

I'm making the new chart now. Tell me what to replace in the 13 section and I'll replace it. If you can't tell me specifically what to replace you're out of luck.

jeffery over slime season for sure

too many death grips albums, it would be enough to just mention TMS or NOTM

Wolf- Tyler the Creator replaces Black Milk
Doris- Earl Sweatshirt replaces Oddissee
Long.Live.ASAP- ASAP Rocky replaces Qwel & Maker
Nothing Was the Same- Drake replaces Flatbush ZOMBIES

it would be enough to not mention them*

Alright, will make changes.

Does anybody object to this?

Hilarious!

this

add the new Danny Brown album

Gonna add Sun's TIrade by Isaiah Rashad to the 16' part.

Anyone opposed to that? After that we got one more spot for 16.

The Suns Tirade
TLOP
Untitled Unmastered
Prima Donna
Coloring Book
Tribe Called Quest

NMNIJ over Slime Season 3
Atrocity exhibition
Prima Donna

>TLOP
....Do I have to...?

Here's what we got, boys.

Any suggestions/replacements let me know what you want in and what album you want to replace with said album

(I.E. don't just say 'add x' say 'replace x with y' like did here)

Injury reserve - floss should replace any of the last three for '16

...

Nice job ignoring when I said 'say what you wanna replace it with'.
I need to know what to replace it with or I CAN'T make the change

Now let's try again: I should replace DG with... _____ ?

Done.

I think either Maxo187, Rodeo, or A.L.L.A. should be added instead of Cherry Bomb. Not sure which ones the best but I'm leaning toward Rodeo.

pablo should be there instead of rtj3, especially considering rtj3 is gonna be considered a 2017 release

i think rodeo is the best choice of the three

there are clearly 6 rows on the chart

Rodeo it is.

I'm reeeeeeally hesitant to, but it's not about my bias/tastes, it's about Sup Forums's general hip hop tastes. So I'll add it.

honestly if you cut out the filler tracks i think its a very fun album

exmilitary should be replaced with Blvcklvnd Rvdix 66.6 (1991)
no love deep web - stretch 2
the powers that b - barter 6/ds2/rodeo/IYRTITL

>the powers that b - barter 6
Oh fuck no...Nononononononon.
No. No. No.

"""NO"""

I'll replace NLDW with Stretch 2.

2016 lil peep hellboy

you should mention young thug since he's an important figure in the modern hip-hop, and barter 6 is his biggest project to date

Atrocity Exhibition should be the first one in the row for 2016, or at least moved up a bit

also
>mentioning lum multiple times
>mentioning live.love.asap
>not mentioning sgp
you're doing it wrong

you should add LIL BOAT

if youre gonna put young thug anywhere it should be 2016 with jeffery imo

See the first message.

Moved it. Gonna post updated chart soon.

who cares about your opinion
barter 6 was objectively more noticeable

I agree with this entire post
I really hate how people ignore purp. For better or worse he influenced a lot of bedroom rappers when that mixtape dropped.

>a white kid making a hip-hop chart
that wasn't a good idea

this. jeffrey might have been better but barter 6 was 'bigger'

Where's Tha Tour? This shit was incredibly influential in 2014.

I'm just putting in what people tell me...

...With the exception of Young Thug. That's where I draw the line.

Anyway: UPDATE!

>all those RTJ
I mean i like them too but shit there has got to be better fucking albums than those

A: I'm putting in what's already in the chart and what's given to me. Same way I did the color charts.

Not my choices/tastes.

B: If you have better replacements then say them. I can't replace it if you don't give me what to replace it WITH, I've said that a dozen times.

>....with the exception of Young Thug
God you're such a fag, stop being so biased against him. Like it or not he's made a huge impact in hip-hop.

Yea Nasa the Mixtape should be added to '10 but I'm not sure what to replace since I'm not that familiar with a lot of the projects there.

in 2013 in RTJ place, put in Black jungle squad
black jungle radio

yellowmaskcxllective.bandcamp.com/album/black-jungle-radio

Replace Pilot Talk III and/or Rodeo in 2015 with either Oblivion Access or Trick Dice
They're kind of meme choices but they're pretty good albums and we already put fucking Wolf on there

>Like it or not he's made a huge impact in hip-hop.

...God damn it I'm gonna have to add young thug, aren't I?

Added.

Oblivion Access is pretty unique and deserves a spot.

Seeing as I already replaced something ELSE just to put Rodio on I'll replace PT3 since there's already 2 of those.

You absolutely have to put Frank Ocean's Blonde in the 2016 category, might have to bump out Apollo Brown or something.

Blonde isn't really a straight hip hop album though

>four death grips albums
>tyler the creator
>tetsu & youth
>danny brown
>section.80
>lil b
>lil ugly mane
>run the jewels
just start over

Yeah I guess you could just argue it into the RnB category moreso over just hip hop, my b.

I didn't leave much or any of an impact either. The hype was bigger than the album.

just suggest what to add faggot

Fixed a small uh-oh-spaghettios that I had on the first couple charts (had 2 of the same Open Mike Eagle album) and added a few suggestions.

I agree having more than 2 albums from the same artists is stupid (kendrick is the only exception) but everyone in that list has left a huge mark in modern hip-hop.

Not him, but
>Young Thug - Barter 6 or No, My Name is JEFFERY or Slime Season 3
>Vince Staples - Summertime 06
>Kendrick Lamar - untitled unmastered
>Noname - Telefone
should be on it.

Two thirds of this chart can be thrown out and nothing of value lost. Don't know what you're trying to accomplish.

>Young Th-
NO.

I'll add the other 3 if you tell me what to replace.

XD

suggest stuff
add young thug you faggot

...

>add young thug you faggot
Well even if I wanted to
(protip: I don't)
He didn't say what to replace! Ah well, golly gosh darn, what a shame, I'm heartbroken, in tears. Oh well.

ITT

stay mad faggot

Hip-hop is for black people tho.
Culturalappropriationis racist

This is not an album.

>telefone/one of the 2016 young thug albums
remove the life of pablo/atrocity exhibition
>summertime 06/barter 6
remove tetsuo & youth/oblivion access

>remove the life of pablo
DONE!

>Remove Oblivion Access
Also done. Posting update.

>removing oblivion access

No, ignore that faggot

.....You couldn't have warned me before I downloaded it?

God damn it man...fine.

this is really sad

Update.

How about instead of complaining you tell me what to replace?

>still
>no
>young thug
eqic

fuck off stupid rockist
you don't have a clue

>stupid rockist
And you're getting that assumption from what exactly?

supporting that chart
only the most sheltered NPR listener could think that represents the 2010's in hip hop
then when somebody suggests something actually important you'll cry 'mumble rap'

Album name please

>then when somebody suggests something actually important you'll cry 'mumble rap'
Are you seriously implying to me that Young Thug (if you're the one suggesting him) is more important than most of the stuff on that chart?

And if you're NOT the user that was suggesting him, then what rapper are you referring to?

Young Thug is absolutely more important than three Death Grips albums.

Hella Personal Film Festival should replace sun's tirade

I'm with you on this one, wasn't goin to say anything but this charty is bullshit

Young Thug is much more important than most of the stuff on that chart yes.
Get some perspective

>Honor Killed the Samurai being more important than No, My Name is JEFFEREY
come on man

Also putting Travis Scott over Future is some Fantano-level cluelessness

....Ok. Fine I'll add Y.T.
Tell me what I'm replacing.

>Future
Thanks for bringing him up, Drake - If You're Reading This it's too Late should be on it too
