Right, heavy as fuck for a 1974 album. I think it's an album that really demonstrates how you can be experimental even without giving up the core of your sound
I give you 11/10 for Soul Mining alone, such a fuckin great album. all the albums you mentioned are top drawer tho
you should listen to Prefab Sprout - Steve McQueen. it's more poppy and less post-punk but it's just another album from that era with fantastic prodution & songwriting imo
