The Smiths = The Cure > Joy Division > Talking Heads
The Smiths > Joy Division > The Talking Heads > The Cure
Choosing between Joy Division and The Cure is difficult. I'm assuming you mean ONLY Joy Division. No Warsaw, and no New Order. That being said, here is my list.
The Cure > Joy Division >>> Talking Heads > The Smiths
Siouxsie & The Banshees > Christian Death > Bauhaus > Sisters Of Mercy
Heads>Smiths>Cure>Joy Divison
Choosing between the first 2 is hard but the rest is piss easy. Almost chose The Smiths because they knew when to break up.
Glad to see some rare mentions here
Echo & The Bunnymen too
"""""""""""""rare"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
Silver is such a good song.
Talking Heads > The Smiths = Joy Division > The Cure
Relatively
when did Siouxsie & The Banshees last get discussed?
Mostly just name dropping man
Whereas the aforementioned bands are the the face of Sup Forums's new-wave, experimental, indie whatever etc. taste
Talking Heads > The Smiths > Joy Division > The Cure
>Mostly just name dropping man
whats this thread then?
i don't see any discussion going on about these """""""""""""""rare"""""""""""""""""" bands here
Joy Division (all great) > Talking Heads = The Cure (some good stuff but also awful stuff) > Smiths (all shit)
Bauhaus > Christian Death w Rozz > Sisters > Christian Death without Rozz > Siouxsie
Talking Heads = The Smiths = The Cure > Joy Division
The Smiths = Talking Heads > Joy Division >>> The Cure
Joy division kinda sucks dude
If you don't include their Warsaw stuff they have literally one good song. New Order is like a completely different band though.
>(all shit)
guarantee you based this on hearing one song because some of their stuff is pretty similar to some stuff by The Cure and Joy Division
The Cure > Joy Division=The Smiths > Talking Heads
