Also yeah, but he's so good.

She's aight

I'm not the same guy I was just saying I hope things get better for you. I'm going through a little shit too so I sympathize. Hope you do better in the future, man.

Ah, my bad. You too, it'll be alright. Time heals I guess.

yeah debut album drops friday

Mostly true. You can pin most of the blame on the artists' labels, tho.

...

Like yours too

i see. thanks.

>Secos & Molhados

Their self-titled album is the greatest Brazilian album I have ever heard. Really good music

do ur worst

Why does everyone here and on RYM hate Hopsin so much

It is indeed a great record. Are you familiar with Brazilian music? If you're not, I could certainly recommend you some other great Brazilian records.

It is child's music.

Not him, but I do enjoy me some Luísa Maita.

Particularly this one.

These playlists are nice and you seem like a decent guy.

Really? I have to confess that that record struck me as kinda uninspired. Maybe I'll have to give it a few more spins, tho.

>not using Apple Music
Why do you pay the same amount for a smaller catalog?

...

>Bunny Wailer

My man. Blackheart Man is a great album. Bide up is my favorite song off of it. Really underrated.

Can you please show me any data about this? Not being a dick, I'm honestly interested and I can't seem to find a credible source.

Oh, and my Spotify Premium comes free of charge (and with free streaming data included) on my cell phone carrier plan, not really a choice for me.

I really enjoyed it. What do you have to recommend?

> mfw I don't use Spotify

I'm ready.

literally who on all of these

king tubby is my nigga

I'm a big reggae enthusiast. I know that it's generally not Sup Forums's cup of tea so I didn't expect many to know who these artists were. No worries though

This

I actually have a few of his works on vinyl. Perhaps my favorite is his collab with Lee Perry, "King Tubby Meets The Upsetter At The Grass Roots Of Dub". Blood Of Africa is a great track. I wish I had King Tubby Meets The Rockers Uptown on vinyl, though. The bass is incredible.

Well, for recent stuff, I'd tell you to check out Elza Soares' A Mulher do Fim do Mundo (Woman At The End Of The World). Really intense stuff. youtube.com/watch?v=3sPSWr166N4

On a gentler note, you can check out Cícero's first two records, Sábado and Canção de Apartamento; two of my favourite brazilian records of the last few years, musically and lirically. His records are free to download on his website too.

And then you have the classics: Tim Maia, Os Mutantes, Caetano Veloso, Cartola, the list is literally endless. If I had to pick a single artist, however, I'd probably choose Chico Buarque. His catalogue is absolutely amazing, and his 1971 record Construção is a good place to begin your journey to mpb heaven.

Hi Joseph

Hello user

Hey

Like 85% of my Spotify usage is at the gym

...

...

Howdy.

How better is his work listening on a vinyl? I feel my collection is missing dub records. If you havent listened to Prince Doublas I strongly recomend it.

>Jake Bugg
Are you an English 14 year old girl, or are you just into shit?

huh

>Sean Price

My nibbah. Jamaican is one of my favorite songs.

ALEJANDRO

When connected to a sound system, the bass on his work really shines. Like a lot of dub, I feel as though some of his material can be a bit uninspired or unremarkable, but when he shines the vinyl tends to let you know.

Tubby isn't my favorite dub artist (that designation probably belongs to Lee Perry with albums like Super Ape), but I think he definitely deserves a spot in any collector's arsenal.

...

I like his music, sorry it's not Sup Forums garbage. His newest album is pretty good too. Listen to on my own by him.

ok what the fuck I've never heard jamaican before, that's nice, thanks. Always surprised by how often I find him on tracks/albums I would never expect him on, jedi mind for example

Aye, of course. He's a really underrated rapper and perhaps it's a shame he never got more mainstream exposure. RiP.

Except for the ones you can't find in good enough quality or download with giving your computer AIDS.

Spotify has been the single most important thing/software to come out in the past 5 years.
