why was this movie so hated? what went wrong with it? I watched it after everyone telling me it was bad but I thought it was fine but with not enough tomorrowland in it especially in the end you don't actually see anything of the present time tomorrowland just the EMP fucking the whole place up, not a single person besides a bunch of guards and 2 robots.

Not sure. I thought it was pretty good. Maybe people just don't like Clooney. But come on, House's speech makes the whole movie worthwhile. It's great.

I could see that actually. Tomorrow land is basically first world Western civilization cutting off access from everyone else, until the end, when people from Africa, South America, and Asia are invited to become members.
Except we saw people of different ethnicities in the 80s "commercial", well before that ending montage.

clooney, 'okay' drops her.
clooney for the most part played a great burned lover with a deep resentment/almost hatred (love turned hate) toward laferty.
then when they have that moment, it falls flat.
about the only redeeming part of the movie was house's speech about how the human race sprints towards it's own destruction.
he couldn't really have that big kiss with her she was played by a little kid and hes like what 60? but there was no emotional depth, he really just toss her down with a sad smile instead of being emotionally torn trying to solve the situation. i did laugh at how she said he wasnt funny though

camera pans to the shadow being projected while they are near the device.
or she could've reached up with her hand and touched his lips and saying 'if i could love someone..it is you' then have her shut down and begin the bomb countdown/flashing so clooney could've dropped her.
that would have been waaaaaaaay too awkward for the general audience though. i do appreciate your imagination with the touching lips scene because i see it vividly and i do agree it would have been nice but in the end the actress is a child.
