What went wrong?

What went wrong?

It wasn't really the final or a fantasy...

Well, that poster says "Final Fantasy" on it, but the movie has nothing to do with Final Fantasy. That's the first problem.

>Final Fantasy movie
>Cloud, Sephiroth or Sora are nowhere to be found

That's like a Mario movie without Mario, Luigi or Bowser.

a dumb fucking plot

>Final Fantasy
>Sora
please leave

Nice bait.

One Winged Bait

This movie is one of the earliest movie going experiences I can remember as a kid.

I really liked it a lot.

It was a sci-fi movie that had no ties to the Final Fantasy series except for Dr. Cid.

None of the Final Fantasies have anything to do with each other, really.

They do have recurring aesthetics and tropes, though.
I guess this movie had crystals of something? Been ten years since I've seen it so I really can't remember.

the movie is actualy ok but normies didnt get it

There's some vague simularities like the city looking a lot like midgar and the energy source seeming to be a rip off of mako. There's some other stuff slightly related to final fantasy 7 but not a whole lot.

Ultimately I liked it.

>final fantasy
>no fantasy

also:
>extremely boring

It had nothing to do with Final Fantasy, but was otherwise an interesting Sci Fi flick.

If they had just called it "Squaresoft Presents: Spirits Within" I think it wouldn't have been so bad.

Nobody fought turned based style.

>What went wrong?
All the budget went into making the main chick's hair move realistically. The few dollars left went into designing/animating the other characters

>not an ATB patrician
Pleb

Nobody used a sword.

Uncanny Valley: The Waste of CPU Cycles

ATB is not and I repeat is NOT FINAL FANTASY REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Honestly I like it.
