Why do depictions of hell in film suck so bad? Demons too. The devil is usually just a bad man or a stupid goat like in the Witch, demons are unseen possessors, and hell is usually metaphorical or just someone's 'own personal hell' where its like their nightmare. No fire and brimstone.

I wish there was a movie with a dazzling CGI hell straight off of a metal album cover, with demons who look like the orc guy from Warcraft raping people up the ass and tossing them into a lava pit after busting their nut.

That's what we fear most when we think of hell right? Burning forever and getting raped by demons, not having to live in shame or isolation. Most of us already live that way.

This movie literally had the most hellish looking hell in cinema and its a fucking kids' movie

Consantine had a good depiction of judeo-christian hell, event horizon aswell

Oh and the doom movie also

Jacobs Ladder has the best adaption of Hell I think. Though I suppose it can be argued that it's all a hallucination or purgatory.

>Doom movie
>hell

Nah they fucked that part up hard

Event Horizon was the best to me because we never got to actually see hell but the torture and imagery was haunting still.

Who's gonna post the star wars devil

>judeo-christian hell
>fire and brimestone

Stop talking anytime. Hell is without god. Lake of fire is something else bro

hahah epic xd :)

Wasn't it just the Los Angeles skyline in ruins?

Typical Hollywood shlock

I want a Dantes Inferno movie

>Most of us already live that way.
wow

they were angels, but he saw them as demons 'cause he didn't want to let go of his life, all his pain and sorrow.

Movies are made by Jews, atheists and atheist jews, your Hell is considered tacky and offensive to the intellectual dignity of man.

normies get out. re.

what movie, he literally just walks around, like Disenyland

Make Dante a girl and give her tons of quips about all the men burning in hell.

You mean like a moive actually set in hell??
The only one I can think of is What Dreams may Come, which was a sitcom version of Inferno

Not necessarily. It's just that Hollywood's always been too much of a pussy to show some real torture and demonic imagery.

Give us some demons in the flesh for once who are as big as the fucking hulk and have them disembowel people over and over again as they regenerate to get the same treatment.

Punishment in the bible, greek mythology, and tons of other ancient stories is absolutely terrifying to read about. I've yet to see anything close.

Well, hellraiser came kind of close, but that the torture was some s&m shit that turned them on ruined it.

Why don't you kill yourself and comeback and show us what he'll looks like?

Protip: there is no hell because there is no heaven

>Hollywood don't want to R ratings anymore
>wants NC-17 shit
Stick to them Nip guro porn, dingus

>reddit babby triggered this much
nigger he's talking about movies and artistic depictions you dumb fucking millennial cuck.

Yeah that and there was also a giant fucking orgy where a bunch of naked people kept raping and cannibalizing each other for the rest of eternity

The director basically described the whole scenery as a constant nuclear explosion blast wave which never ceases to stop

What if we'e actually in Hell now?

...

Spawn had a good depiction of Hell.

>gets triggered
>calls me triggered

Ok chief

let it go, sport, no one cares

I wish someone would adapt Ted Chiang's "Hell is the Absence of God". That would be a nice change of pace in terms of depiction of Christian imagery

not after the other movie

Nothing in the bible states hell is on fire.

What about that fake trailer from Tropic Thunder where Ben Stiller shoots ice guns in hell?

That is cool iirc

In cinema I always liked Event Horizon's depiction.
Another good idea might be to make a semi-faithful adaptation of Dante's Inferno while mixing in stylistic adaptations of Hieronymous Bosch paintings dealing with similar subject matter. With the right crew the nightmares may never end.
