London 2012 vs Rio 2016

London 2012 vs Rio 2016

Now that the dust has settled, which was the superior Olympics?

Are you series?
Is this a legitimate question?

About the same. London was better organized, but bland. Rio was like Athens all over again, some problems, but really exciting. Trying to be unbiased, I liked Athens more than London so Rio would follow the same path.

Rio is the thinking man's choice.

Rio had a cock cage for a logo, while London had a blowjob.

Rio had the better memes, while London had the better organization.

Let's just say that they're both tied for second behind Beijing.

In terms of crowds
Sydney = London > Beijing > Athens = Rio

In terms of stadia
Beijing > London > Sydney > Athens = Rio

>in brazil the black people were seen as slaves
>in london they were seen as industry leaders
Really makes you think

Rio was better
The London opening ceremony was so cringey

London was better. These Olympics are decent, but I predict they will be forgotten. For example, I remember nothing of Sydney, Athens or Barcelona, but I do remember Atlanta and Beijing. I was a baby during Seoul so that doesn't count.

In the rest of the world, blacks are seen as americans.

The only thing I remember about London was that they kicked their own monarch out of a helicopter for a gag and then made all the other countries' flagbearers bend the knee during the opening ceremony.

if it wasn't for the 1st day of /track/ and those days in between Bolt's 100m and 200m where the stadiums were empty it would've been as good as London's desu

all and all it was better than everyone thought it was gonna be

>The dust has settled.
Nah, give it some more time to ask this. Rio feels are still fresh.

I don't even remember L O N D O N, but I remember Beijing.

Rio had more memorable moments. London had better organization

Empty stadiums, booing Olympians during medal ceremony, even more empty stadiums, robbing people, shitty Olympic Village

London > shithole

>Empty seats
>BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

London had none of that shit.

rio was much better

london was completely forgettable and unoriginal

Are you Cereal? Is this legitimate grammar?

In all honesty. Nobody remembers London 2012. It was so uneventful and forgetable.

This.

considering you got like 1 gold in london, its not really surprising

London was better than bejing and rio desu

Beijing>>>>>>>>Londonā‰„Rio

lool git rekt

this

nothing against England but London is so vanilla

Manchester Aberdeen Westminster could have been something special

>Aberdeen Westminster

can someone tell him to shut up?

>Westminster

It's in london

In terms of organization and performance, I think London takes the cake, but Rio had far more memorable moments for some reason, I think the fact that everyone was expecting a disaster, but it ended up being really good helped in that.

I would go with Rio, but I'm biased on this one, Brazil had its best performence in a Olympic ever, we settled the 7-1 curse, we triggered the French and the Americans. It was just a shitstorm, but our special kind of shitstorm.

Pretty much the same, the only real difference was the opening ceremony. The London ceremony was beyond ridiculous and painful to watch, and Rio's was so dull that i've forgot about it one minute later.

Apart from that, the only positive thing about London is that we have been good at swimming while we completely choked in Rio.

London olympics was too boring. But I liked the opening, specially the Rowan Atkinson sketch.

I don't actually remember London.

London ceremony was fresh as fuck in retrospect, far better than Chinese circus monkey political power display.

I think they both were equally shit and gave the impression that the olympics are dying along with nationalism. 1st world nations limit themselves to juice imported brown/black people up and shitholes like china treat their athletes as a slave caste bred to entertain their lords.
Of course Brazil itself is a pretty awful place and brazilians are unbearable, so it's entertaining to watch how their socialist leaders burn through their nations money while favelados, that is, most brazilians, live in absolute shit.
I guess rio it is

>dat xenophoby

>his memories were stolen at gunpoint in Rio

Pretty much this.

>Crying and shitting Frenchies.
>Our douchebag bro from the states.
>kek inducing pride from Brazilian monkeys winning a penalty shot game
>Its been established that hueniggers are most definitely the worst hosts. Incessant booing even in competitions they aren't even partaking in, and leaving arenas/stadiums fucking deserted.
>etc.

Brazil was only good for the laughs and memes.

No. It was just really meh. But it was not your fault, nothing could top Beijing. Also, I only remember Athens 2004 because I got some Coca-Cola olympic toys.

Beijing, hands down. I'm glad their team is getting BTFO but the Olympics they hosted and their opening ceremony were both GOAT and it's not even close.

>his Olympics didn't have the entire fucking stadium sing along to a fucking monty python song

Only thing London have that it was better organized and better crowd. But other than that, Rio won this one. Better Opening Ceremony, better torch, a lot more drama and unexpected chokes. I can't remember having this much fun in London compared to Rio.

The ending ceremony is going to be better too.

London 2012 is my least favorite Olympics as well.

But Beijing 2008 was better.

>London ceremony was fresh as fuck in retrospect, far better than Chinese circus monkey political power display.
No it was. It was like a 40 year parent trying to be cool and fresh with his teenage kid and their friends.

That had pop-up texts, and Mary Poppins fighting Voldemort for fuck's sake. Even Vancouver 2010's OP was better and that was hokey as fuck too.
