I've been getting into this stuff recently, just post whatever. Also curious, what do you guys think about the lyrics that a lot of these guys have, as they are all pretty samey.

Oh shit, I don't know why I didn't say Memphis. I thought Memphis but typed Miami...
lmao no worries. Check out The Havoc, one of my favorite hip hop albums ever.
most important mixtape of the 2010's
TOMMY WRIGHT I CREEP AT NIGHT
youtube.com
Basically anything with Tommy Wright III (his solo albums/mixtapes, N.O.D., ten wanted men)
Blackout - Dreamworld
Player 1 & Bloody Bones - Crime Rate Sky High
Three 6 Mafia discography
Koopsta Knicca - Da Devil's Playground
Project Pat - Ghetty Green
Gangsta Pat - Deadly Verses
Stay away from modern "memphis" stuff except of old Spaceghostpurrp/Raider Klan stuff (Mysterious Phonk, Blvcklvnd Rvdio 66.6, King of the Mischievous South) and Lil Ugly Mane - Mista Thug Isolation
There's a pretty good flowchart, I'll post it when I'm not on my phone
true patricians know that Three 6 Mafia is low key the best rap group of all time. Mystic Styles is of course their best album. But most of their other early stuff like The End and World Domination is great too. We also gotta acknowledge that Three 6 contributed significantly to the evolution 'crunk', along with more Atlanta artists. My favorite of their songs are usually the posse cuts where most of their diverse roster gets a verse. Also can't forget Project Pat, though not technically a member of Three 6 Mafia, is closely affiliated.
I agree with your assessment, you seem smart. I'd be interested in the flowchart if you can post it.
three 6 mafia isn't miami rap dipshit it's fucking memphis rap
I know, it was a typo. I clarified here:
Miami rap!
sorry it took a while, its pretty easy to find too
there are some spots i disagree with because it takes a while to get to some real classics (koopsta knicca, N.O.D., dreamworld, mysterious phonk) and its missing some really good stuff but overall its still an OK flowchart
2nd Family is the GOAT devil rap
youtube.com
the flow on this is ridiculous. way ahead of the game.
Lil ugly mane just released a new album a few minutes ago if anybody is interested
liluglymane.bandcamp.com
it sucks. stoop lights is the only good song
and mti was one of my favorite hip hop albums of all time
>it sucks. stoop lights is the only good song
disagree
>and mti was one of my favorite hip hop albums of all time
agree
anyone have a link to Kuku Fo Dem Dollas?
If you think MTI is Lil Ugly Mane's best work please hang yourself.
stop mentioning ugly man from virginia in memphis rap threads
If you think any of his albums are better than MTI, you should reconsider your life
Underrated classic Memphis rap album
This is a Miami rap thread
good point
youtube.com
>unironically thinking MTI is better than any other project he's put out
Uneven Compromise and Weeping Worm shit on MTI.
Just do me a favor and grab that noose under your bed and tie it around your neck.

anything Tommy Wright or Three 6 Mafia of course is great.
I would also recommend Al Kapone - Da Resurrection

I can't get over how good N.O.D. is.

This right there.

From New York, but I thought you guys might be interested, where the Three 6 Mafia Beat originated
Also recommending 2 Low Key - Test My Nutz
>bitches on my dick 'cause they know this shit is thick
Stopped there. There are limits to the lyrical ineptitude I'm willing to subject myself to for a hard beat.
well too bad for you because this is one of the most influential memphis rap songs and even tapes
"Influential" never implied high quality, so who gives a shit.
this shit is so dope
this music is great (three 6 mafia) but i hate it for spawning trap rap shit that i have to listen to at parties
thank you for this
I love Miami Rap
Are any of Kinpin Skinny Pimp's albums worth listening to other than King of Da Playaz Ball? I see this one around but haven't heard it.
desu I thought you meant Miami phonk which sort of has that horror vibe sometimes
