Rio's water/10

3,5/10

this tbqh senpai baka

8/10.

Considering ya'll had no budget, the Opening and Closing Ceremony were nice. Much better than London 2012. The only major minuses is that lack of crowd (which I partly blame the IOC for overpricing tickets) and scheduling Deathmarch too early. The pool being green and the mountain bike trail being on fire was funny but nothing serious. I was worried it would be a mess considering the problems with the WC 2014.

You did a good job.

2/10, worst Olympics I've seen by a mile

even fucking Athens was better

right answer.

2/10

Britain beating China in gold was pretty great to be honest with you family

7

>no german posting a 7/1 joke itt
why even live

5
Was worth it just to see this

not anime/10

Bro. Really? That was really a shit opening/closing ceremony. Nice proxy Brazil.

Oh and I rate it -1000000/10

See you fucks in 2020. I'm out.

It's only 4am in Germany. The only people up that early are farmers milking cows feeding chickens and prepping bulls.

10000% JESUS

a 1 out of 7

Objectively, a 5/10, only a few things bad but nothing too remarkably good either

Knowing it was made by Brazil against all odds, 8/10

congrats

>Prepping bulls
That's Sweden's job though

Yeah cuz we never saw your sequins and feathery carnivales and your mesmerizing capoweddah

4/10

Nothing particularly special.

BOOOOOOOOO

lots of problems.
empty stadiums.
booo.
doping.

3/10 you tried.

10/10

10/10.
Best olympic games of all time.

i enjoyed it a lot. watched more weird sports like handball and fencing. would watch again/10

5/10
London was 6.5, Peking was 8.5, Athens was 5.5, Tokyo will be +9.
Atlanta was probably around 3 or 2 from what I've read 2bh

>doping
What do we have to do with this?

6/10
3/5

Empty stadiums really let it down. Felt almost dead. At least it'll be held in a first world country this time.

3/10

>booo
>conveniently forgetting the amount of hues that live in Tokio

You'll see booing in Japan senpai.

-2

China - Communism/10
London - Boring/10
Rio - Entertaining/10

non-shitpost: 6/10. It was boring and predictable. London was better, and Toyko will be better

sydney 2000 was unbeatable tbqh

Very underrated indeed, I feel like most people here didn't see it though, hence why they forget it.

Haha stay mad kiwi faggot

We made money and you guys went into
Debt. Learn to be a first world country spider hunter

>Tokio

Dekaseguis doesn't live in 'Tokio', lives in city with factories like Mie, Shiga. And beside some brazilians japaneses be retards like hues, they are slightly more educated then hue counterpart.

3/10 for trying.

Opening 4.5/10
Games 6.5/10
Closing 6/10 (propped up by Tokyo preview piece)
Medal Table 10/10
Chinese Butthurt 10/10

Overall 6/10

7/10

ALSO SEE CAN ANYONE HELP ME

did the BBC tell you china was upset? they got third overall

Third in a year they thought they had a serious chance of being top again. All the previews kept banging on about how much they're targeting 'skilled' sports rather than athletics and they're going to get clean sweeps in gymnastics, diving and even get second place in the swimming.

They don't show it, but you know the butthurt behind the scenes is going to be spectacular at how badly they've failed and not even been second just to top it off. 'We're going to dominate gymnastics' - not one gold. Could even get a clean sweep in the 'safe' sports for them like diving.

>considering the problems with the WC 2014
What are you talking about, m8? The WC was a huge success and one the best world cups of all time.

Just to put it into perspective that was China's worst Olympics in gymnastics since 1980. 11 golds in 2008 and 5 in 2012 down to 0 in 2016.

This was a year all about Chinese failure. Bizarre coaching fuck-ups in weightlfitng, lost ground in diving. Meltdown in gymnastics, Failed to get more than one gold from swimming despite the hype about muhh Sun Yang and others. Flopped in shooting as well.

6/10

4/10.

Performances were quite poor, apart from the 400 m world record.

>slowest 1500 m since 1932
>Bolt now wins by clocking the times Carl Lewis did 30 years ago
>gold medal in women's high jump was 1.97 m, while two women in heptathlon did 1.98 m

JUST

what did he mean by this

10/10

Tokyo will BTFO Brazil, so 4/10

I was going to give them a 5, but I'll be nice and give them a 6 mainly for the most memes.

>Crying shitting Frenchies
>Our douchebag bro from the states
>Favela chimps get upset about robbery accusation, commit robbery in the end.
>Its been established that Brazilian monkeys are literally the worst hosts imaginable. Booing incessantly even in games they aren't even partaking in, leaving stadiums/auditoriums completely deserted.
>kek inducing pride from hueniggers winning a penalty shot game. Germany considered the "evil country".
>Stray bullet, one in particular hitting the equestrian arena tournament.
>etc.

Not even London provided this amount of amusement.

9/10
best time difference and livestreams of everything, could watch literally the whole time I was awake.

t. NEET who sleeps at day

>embarrassingly low attendance
>average opening ceremony
>green pools
>athletes robbed
>no money left for paralympics which has sold unbelievably low numbers of tickets

The events themselves were fine, and we saw some memorable moments, but then that's the case for every Olympics. Rio managed the bare minimum of completing all the events and not being attacked by ISIS, but got a lot of the other things wrong. I'm sorry, I don't even have anything against Brazilians, but this was a weak Olympics, and I already want Tokyo to be here because I know they will do it justice.

4/10

Games: 7/10
Opening: 4/10
Closing: an epic 10/10, loved that huge Carnival explosion ending

It was not amusing, it was embarrassing and completely lacking in dignity.

We're here for sports, not drama.

Zika/10

Barcelona 1992 - 10/10
Atlanta 1996 - 2/10
Sydney 2000 - 7/10
Athens 2004 - 5/10
Beijing 2008 - 9/10
London 2012 - 7.5/10
Rio 2016 - 6/10

I expect Tokyo 2020 to destroy everything and get the first 10/10 from me since Barcelona.

Tokyo 2020 will be perfectly organized, but...

>no more crazy records
>no Bolt
>...more meme sports and more trannies running as "women"

Honestly, these Olympics were not great. Phelps and Bolt can't just keep carrying the games each Olympiad.

Rio was better than Sydney, but not better than anything since Sydney.

In terms of events it was great, but sadly it's management was lackluster

I give the opening a 1/10 for that mesmerizing Olympic torch.

It was made by an American, so it doesn't count.

God fucking damn.. This guy's work is amazing

youtube.com/watch?v=1CNU3DQclGs

I'd say it was a solid 7

Beijing really did that well?

121/10

>>...more meme sports and more trannies running as "women"
What? That will be the funniest shit ever

Imagine every single woman sports being conquered by ex-men

It will be glorious, the memes alone will make up for it

i only watched Beijing, London and Rio in my life so im comparing them with each other:

Beijing: 9,5/10
London: 4/10
Rio: 6/10

Why the fuck are you all rating Beijing that high?

Honestly
>OC: 7/10
>Games: 8/10 (because I actually attended a few events)
>Organization: 5/10
>Memes: 9/10
>CC (without Tokyo shit): 3/10

with atlanta a 1 and sydney a 9, I'd say it's a 3

- goat opening ceremony
- all events sold out with delirious crowds
- the rise of Bolt
- comfy timezone

>- goat opening ceremony
does anyone remember anything other than the girl not being cute enough to sing live and the drummers?

Of all the ones I've actually paid attention to,

Beijing: 6/10
Vancouver: 9/10
London: 9/10
Sochi: 4/10
Rio: 3/10

I might be biased towards Vancouver though desu

Now that the beef has settled, how would you rate Hope Solo's performance?

the part with the schoolchildren surrounded by Tai chi masters will never ever be surpassed

NO

How was that goat?

domesticabuse/10

this desu

Anyone got any similar montage videos as this for Rio yet?

youtube.com/watch?v=TbsXUJITa40

Although the closing ceremony for Rio should be at least a 1/10 because the Japan segment was great and BTFO the entire of Brazil's ceremonies in just 5 minutes

because less people are doping this year is why people are running slower

Somewhere between 4-6/10

Anybody who says otherwise is taking the piss, has a short memory or is too much of a casual to remember previous recent olympics.

I've been posting on Sup Forums since the Sydney olympics and rio is on par with athens and worse than the others.

I'm looking at the official medal table on the Rio Olympics website and it says that GB came in fucking 3rd. You guys have 67 medals compared to China's 70 while having only 1 more gold than them.

Is your government propagandizing you lads with bs saying that GB came in 2nd? China literally has nothing to be butthurt about. You guys were beaten by them.

>I've been posting on Sup Forums since the Sydney olympics

3/10
And a gold medal to OBS, based cameraman
