I've heard multiple people say they use Dopethrone to analyze some speakers/headphones because of its extreme highs and lows. I don't know anything about all that but it's the best Electric Wizard album by a long shot and a classic for a reason.

Akg is dead now, but I have q701's and the schiit modi and magni. You'll probably want to buy an amp and dac if you don't already have them. Try sennheiser?

Both great brands. I have a pair of dt-990's and he400s'. The dt990s get more use because I have a roommate, but the he400s sound better imo. Be warned, they do suck power like a motherfucker, so an amp is all but required.

actually this would test the lows better... when the bass go's an octave lower during the hook if the headphone can pick it up noticable then theyre good
