Can anyone help me? I'm getting clocking issues with my focusrite solo 2nd gen. Basically my devices will randomly turn staticy until I go to the properties of the focusrite device and reset the format (change from 2 channel 24 bit, to 2 channel 16 bit and then back to 24 bit).

Most important aspect is to make sure you have some of those grungy drum samples. Don't cut them too exactly - it can make a cool effect if the actual sound of the snare sample start's a couple of miliseconds in to the sound. Other than that, don't quantize too much. Play them in if you can. Or draw them into your piano roll free hand. If you have it all quantized it will sound very stiff.
The way those guys probably did it was using a couple of sliced loops and not entirely singular drum samples. But that's just a guess ofc

you've got 2 options for vinyl. the first is lathe cut vinyl, but those tend to wear out faster and it starts to get expensive fast after about 500. the second is finding some short run vinyl pressing company, and that's gonna leave you with a 1000+ minimum order, and it's hecka expensive.
