>rec: first texas chainsaw massacre movie
What, for real? Because I actually haven't watched it.
Also, liking the chart, don't reeeally have any recs though...

I haven't browsed the thread for Sup Forums context but Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a Really Really Important Horror Movie. It pre-dates and fully explains all subsequent slasher movies, with the genre peaking during the 1980s. And there are a couple of really crazy, just /weird/ scenes.

If you like horror movies at all, you owe it to yourself to watch it. The score is a blend of forgettable, annoying hippie music and some decent ambient, back when making such for a horror movie was still a fairly novel idea.

no gentle giant? :o ... If you haven't, listen to octopus! also i've listened to both eloy and procol harum (ocean and a salty dog respecfully) but really wasn't satisfied (i would like to be though). Any recommendations on where else to go with them? Im not familiar with their otherworks btw.
have you looked into paul simon's solo work?
you might enjoy supertramp. High production quality/ studio work with several solid (err, maybe two) solid albums. Start of with Crime of the Century.
Listen to early porcupine tree if you like tangerine dream. One to complain eh? listen to blackhandpath, abit death grips inspired. I dont see any death grips on your chart, I know you listen to them though.
Have you listened to anything by ween? very reminsicent of both zappa and barrett era floyd. Normally I'd recommend the mollusk but you'd probably do just fine listening to pure guava.
OI! WHERE'S THA FAKIN BAR JOHN? It seems odd at first, but john lennon's plastic ono band was a major influence on roger waters, and is very similar to the final cut!
