Watch a goofy series that's about the humor and overacting, something like You're Beautiful or Tomorrow's Cantabile.

Why does he have spikes coming out of him?

Wait -- let me guess.
>I love you. But I can't touch you. Because I am spiky, I might hurt you
How close?

OP here
who knows i literally have no idea what that shit is i just typed korean drama on google

They're not all that bad.

is that Anri Okita?! Source please.

Stay away from the comedies.

Asian people are just ..different. We don't get the things they do.

kpop and kdrama is cancer.

they just recycle the same generic garbage.

Yep, its like some no-name comedy movie she made. Not sure if its before or after she became a pornstar. Just search 'anri okita' full thing is on youtube.

I liked Coffee Prince desu.

maybe it's that chinese film about pornstars with ksubs.
I don't remember that scene though...

Nobody other than housewives has time to watch serial TV.

Men are working 7am to 11pm. School kids are at school for the same period of time.

If you want decent Korean media you have to watch thrillers. They make fucking amazing thrillers that I love and I bemoan everyday that they have not turned any of them into series.

The whole way TV runs there is different too, there is no such thing as seasons. Your show goes for as long as it was made for/is popular and then it ends. There is no season break, there is no season 2, you go until it ends and that is it.

what's so bad about them?

anyway, watch Descendants of the Sun. that one is surprisingly pretty solid.

don't watch You Who Came From The Star. literally capeshit that went on too long than it needed to.

>Joo Hong-bin (Lee Dong-wook), is a wealthy man with a prickly demeanor who develops a supernatural ability - his anger and mental pain manifest as knives sprouting from his body. He meets Son Se-dong (Shin Se-kyung), a warmhearted girl who becomes entangled into his life. As they fall in love, she slowly heals his heart and he learns to deal with his inner pain and new found power.[4]
Literally what the fuck.

I emphasis everything I said in this post again.

Found out today there is a show called Vampire Police. Really, Korea?

>You're Beautiful
one of the few kdramas that handles love triangles(at least the guys' side) correctly. even though that one guy always gets cucked, but he's not treated by the story in a way where it's easy for the audience to cast him aside. fuck, you actually root for the guy more than the MC with the mismatched eyes because Dr. Kim was drunk when he went for an appointment.

Naked Ambition 3D?

Is it even worth a watch, or should I just jerk to regular porn she made.

>4minute does b-girl styled music videos
>no-name groups immediately start doing it too with the black beanies with white text
no shame

I only watched the first one. Really fun.

and America has kids shows like the Flash and the city guy who shoots arrows.

That's true. I guess the UK really is the best country in the world.

uk has doctor who

Are Gooks incapable of subtlety? You don't literally have someone grow spikes from his body to make people understand the hedgehogs dilemma.

As I said, this soap opera shit for housewives who literally spend their days alone at home while their children study to suicidal levels and their husbands drink themselves to death while getting less work done than in the west because muh Asian work culture.

Korea means a lot to me, but jesus fucking christ it is just the worst.

think they were just trying to make an edgelord character

korean women have really nice bodies.

>he watches korean dramas
>he doesn't watch the superior korean sitcoms

Izombie, nuff said.

Understandable, took me years to start getting UK humor.

>watching anything but historical dramas

>I want to drive it first for my first test drive
How did he get it there

>Went too long
How? Korean and Japanese shows seem to only have 1, maybe 2 seasons

asians are inhuman

I wondered the same thing.

That power is totally useless. Think of how much money he wastes buying new clothes.

fuck Kdrama shit
just overracting and "humor" that even an asian myself literally cant stand this shit.
kdrama is so fucking long and every episode is so fucking slow literally nothing happens.the acting in kdrama is shit.People only watch this shit because it has cute boys and cute girls so they can jump their dick/pussy everytime they appears on screen
stay away from this shit its a waste of time
also fuck korea and kpop shit

I used to watch everything with Park Shin Hye

I have seen it too, it got extended by 2-3 episodes or something during the run because of how popular it was. Even without that they could have told the story better by being more succinct.

The men in these shows are always chaebols, they have more money than entire small nations.

>fuck korea and kpop shit
Probably, but is the closest to porn Korea will ever have, Kpop singers are literally sluts

There's a reason why South Korea has the world's best plastic surgeons.

most of k sluts are plastics though and all are low test.Their songs are 90% auto tune and shit.Idk why asian countries are crazy for that shit

you cannot plastic surgery them long smooth awesome legs.

they lack diversity
why can't korean tv be more diverse

Cause they want their faces to match their bodies.

Koreans (and all asians really) glorify pale skin, small faces and wide eyes. Basically if you are white and clean shaven you embody their beauty ideal, bonus if you have light eyes and/or hair.

That's camera angle/lens.

This, it's for people who have shitty lives. It's all fantasy.

I've been living in Korea for a year now and I have just given up on Korean media all together. Everything is VERY homogenous and rehashed, even the cooking shows.

Overall there is just a lot of shit that isn't fact checked or just plain too stupid to happen that an average intelligence person's bullshit detection will go off. What matters most to them is visuals.

>bullets going everywhere, main characters dodges all of them despite lack of cover and clear shots
>female gets into "life threatening" car accident, yet has full make-up on and only a small scratch on forehead

A lot of fads here are based on western trends and I swear things get here 6 months later. There are tons of shows interviewing flat assed girls on squatting and health trends.

If you are young and/or unintelligent you will tolerate Korean media.

Hey now, you are giving a blanket statement to all Korean media.

Korean movies are fine. If I have a choice between a Korean thriller or a thriller from pretty much anywhere else I would go with the Korean one, better chance of it being good.

The movies are actually targeted at adults who work because going to a movie once ever couple months is not as much of a time commitment for them as keeping up with a twice-weekly TV show.

Give me a name of a korean thriller you like and I will watch it and get back to you. I am Korean by the way, and the only time I have enjoyed anything Korea was when I was a teenager.

Have you never heard of Oldboy? It is the most popular Korean thriller I believe.

The Man from Nowhere
The Yellow Sea
The Chaser
A Bittersweet Life

Those are a couple good ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Oldboy is just a remake of an American film starring Josh Brolin you fucking Koreaboo.

>I know people who are actually like this
Goddamnit you triggered me. I need to go have a lie down.

Give me something recent, at least within 2 years. I can accept that Korea has once in a while churned out something good, but on a consistent basis there movies are usually shit.

The Man from Nowhere then. That is pretty recent. Or I Saw the Devil.

8/8
