This is one of the best albums ever made, without hyperbole.
This is the best Neil Young ever got.
The Beatles are horrible.
John Lennon deserved to die.
I can't wait until Paul McCartney does.
He died 51 years ago.
I just listened to this for the first time last night. Not bad.
He only released 2 bad albums in his career. Everything else he's made is at least a 7
>believing in the Paul Is Dead conspiracy
senpai, pls...
Everybody should listen to more ambient. Ambient is patrician-tier genre, and if you don't appreciate it I assume you have low IQ.
What do you consider his best and what are his worst?
Not bad, it's just a collection of singles.
Ziggy stardust and the spiders from mars is his best along with Blackstar
His best album is Diamond Dogs
His worst is Never Let Me Down, of course.
If you like I can post my rankings of his albums from my favorite to least.
(Although it's based on personal taste and probably doesn't match others tastes Bowie wise.
>I BURY PAUL
You know it's true
their best studio album
This album is basically a perfect 10 and the rest of their discography is 6s and 7s.
You're right, op. It's easily their most experimental and also best to listen to while tripping on acid.
This is the best Libertines album
2nd best but definitely underrated
1st post after ban, well spent
Nanobots was great, not as good as Join Us, but still fucking great. Best ending to a TMBG album since John Henry too.
Good but not their best
Nope
Yup
Good but not their best
Nope
I thought you were talking about this at first glance.
This man is a talentless hack
>Everybody should listen to more ambient. Ambient is patrician-tier genre,
This is the part I agree with.
Got any recommendations?
Odyssey and Oracle is superior to Pet Sounds and Sgt. Pepper
i sincerely hope that this is bait
>()
>not at least an 8
wew
>Kanye is trash
>AnCo is trash
>The National is painfully boring
I agree with you, well, at least a little bit. There should be an *asterisk in your post, stating that the U.S. pressing is the best, just by sheer content. For anyone from the U.K. wondering why, well, the picture explains why. This is one of the few times Capitol Records did not fuck up, and actually released a better product. The proof; look at which pressing they include in every Beatles album collection, it's always the U.S. one. This album was unfortunate and came right after Sgt. Pepper, a heavy contender for best album of all-time, that introduced a sort of story/persona, and changed the way people see albums for years to come. Magical Mystery Tour just doesn't have that, and that is the one thing that is holding it back in most eyes.
This really is a 10/10
Muse is a fucking piece of shit
wow
OP said unpopular
I could agree with that. I need to listen to that one again. Been a while.
take out all you need is love and replace it with its all too much, and you got a good album
New Order is better than Joy Division
They are completely different bands.
They literally are not.
The bands share three members. They are not completely different bands.
This is their best album. Not Soundtracks, not TBK, this
That's not that unpopular
Sir, I don't even know who the fuck that is.
I feel like Penny Lane and Hello, Goodbye is a solid enough 1 2 punch to make it a contender. Add in the others, and it really just captures an era of some awesome and experimental stuff. I mean, there are the obivous albums that will always be considered the band's best, but I feel like this album is heavily underrated imo.
that's true... but I don't think any Swans fan would disagree with that.
the best album in the "ambient" series
I'd say Eno's work is definitely patrician-tier, but as for the genre itself not so much. A lot of ambient artists tend to make very formulaic music which is exactly what ambient is not supposed to be about
I unironically agree.
I have to go ahead and disagree with you right there
