staying in on friday night edition

A bait-and-switch is being played here.
The assertion is that by not buying into the "right" to free speech, one is defending the current leftist orthodoxy's right to impose restrictions on right-wing speech. This is in itself fallacious, because it's implying that not believing in "the right" to speak absolutely is the same as saying that the state is "right" to shut down right-wing speech.
In truth censorship is ideologically neutral. Only the belief that it's right or wrong independent of context is ideological.

TLDR: Free speech is a weapon to undermine their claim to authority, censorship will be a weapon in right-wing hands to undermine the left's ability to spread lies and disorder.

Me on the left.

Fucking politics wankers

>Why the fuck do you think FF is going to stay principled over one thing?
I didn't. I'm just saying that right now they are very clearly a pro-equality party because the political winds are blowing that way, and as such their current position undermines/negates what they may have done in the past.

>I didn't call you pedantic, faggot.
Sorry, I put that in the wrong place. Meant to go in at the end of the 3rd section.

>public backlash would have been big enough during the boom that something would have been done
>implying public backlash in Ireland solves anything
Why is the HSE still a mess then? There has been public backlash about that for years.

> Are you faggoys seriously defending FF
No, I'm just being realistic.

Aw shit it's friday

*blocks your path*

*bombs your path*

Everybody who cares about politics should be killed so we can begin anew.

I know

get that cunt out of here

how are you lad

Every member of every political party will have to be liquidated ar lá na rópa.

You go first then.

No

...

do the Irish hate Maggie as much as the Northern English/Welsh/Scots do?

Nobody deserves a vote in this country
don't think I'll vote next election

yes
even my mam who doesn't like the IRA doesn't like her because she destroyed so many communities in the north of england

>the irish

>Want to vote for SF
>Love the BRITS OUT policy
>Hate the BLACKS IN policy

Fucking hate my life lads

People who've been on the dole for more than 5 years should be able to, not functioning members of society

Also property owners who are male and over 25 would be ideal, Greeks had the right idea

And preferably Dubliners don't get voting rights but that might be too optimistic

Do you have relatives over there or what?

>there isn't a single political party that anybody with good conscience could vote for
damn

has there ever been a /éire/ gimmick as patrician as ballbusting or runtposting?

Bullcuck fuck off.
Your land will be redistributed to the Dublin proletariat to turn them into good Gaelic Landsmanns, killing two birds with one stone and strengthening the nation.

>/brit/ flag

Kinseyfags get out.

Not a fan of Communism, but I'm not a fan of Prostitution either.

Feeling pretty conflicted.

no

ballbusting was one day and it was never really funny

>Theobald Wolfe Tone™, led the United Irishmen™ to reestablish the Irish nation through the revival of their ancestral social customs: Protestantism, the English language, and secular French-style republicanism.
Kek.

>Military genius and socialist vanguard James Connolly organises a troop of lesbian single mothers to capture the most Irish place in the world: Dublin
Brilliant.

>Freed from the tyranny of archaic notions of morality and nationality, Ireland is finally free to become exactly the same as every other first world country. Removing the deviant sexuality and keeping-up-appearances superficiality of internalised Catholic oppression, the Irish and New-Irish are free to engage in deviant sexuality and keeping-up-appearances superficiality, except now this is done openly and in the name of atheistic pleasure-seeking, so it is good.
Really top notch stuff, lad. Thanks for going to the trouble.

>none of the parties put up a solid defence of the unborn I'll fucking go nuclear at the death of this country.
I'm with you there, lad. I don't think any will, however, considering how badly based Lucinda got it in the neck.

>check up on /éire/
>they have managed to become even less Irish as time has gone on
wtf

what you on about?
I'm drinking a nice warm can of harp as we speak

>Really top notch stuff, lad. Thanks for going to the trouble.
That's a pasta, lad. A good one admittedly though.

Every Gael should get 40 acres and a beur. (Not the refugee kind).

Thanks lad.

I just want ireland to be about british

a' accordan tae plan, my friend

I'd say go with communism, more cute animu pictures.

Don't like Communism, but I don't mind appropriating their aesthetic.

you've got a good mum

>/brit/
>patrician
>ever

Sounds like Distributism

>Sounds like Distributism
Probably what it is.

are there any anti EU organisations in ireland

Well, there are plenty of idiots in Ireland, so probably.

I think UKIP technically runs in the occupied six.

I'm anti immigrant but not anti EU
EU made us rich as fuck

the Eternal Hiberno has certainly done well from the EU

Probably a few small meme organisations with little influence.
Is frogweeb's job related to the EU? What's Strasbourg like?

>anti-immigrant
but we would then have to live on the same island as frogweeb.

we have done well from the EU but with them messing with our taxes it probably wont stay like that

I have no problem with that
frogweeb is far right

>wants anti-immigrant EU
sounds like something an imperialist west-brit would say

not any more

I'm pro-EU, but messing with our tax system would be a step too far for me and would likely make me more hostile towards the EU.

he's not though

>one of the highest relative levels of emigration
>one of the highest relative level of immigrants
Our demographics are doomed, lol.

It'll be fine as long as they don't push tax harmonisation across the EU. That's probably the one issue issue here that could make those in power in Ireland to consider leaving.

exactly, especillay considering the only reason companies are here are beacuse of our tax loopholes

>taxes
>Ireland taxing companies
kek

what does it feel like being surrounded by ginger women?

must be heavenly

>tax harmonisation across the EU
They should but they won't. Monaco and Luxembourg function as nice little tax havens.

If you look at the raw numbers the entire west is fucked. Really its that simple. Like unless the alt right can somehow burst onto the mainstream and halt it then in 15 years half the western european countries will be 30-40% immigrants.

that's a meme, less than 10% of the Irish are ginger

as a percentage Scotland and Wales have more

They tax Irish companies. I think they have to pay a higher rate of tax than the multinational companies.
Monaco isn't in the EU Nigel.

Monaco has a dodgy arrangement with the EU on matters of taxation, like Switzerland

>frogweeb is far right
Nah - I hover around the centre just above the x-axis on most political compass tests. Not because I'm a radical centrist type, but because I'm quite right wing on a number of social issues, but I lean left on economic issues so they sorta cancel each other out.

But I said the exact opposite in that post.

Is oblivion (movie) good? In the mood for a sci fi

the far right are usually left wing on economic issues
thats why they call it far right populism

welfare chauvinism

Generally ginger women look different than the brown/blonde norm.
It's kino to have red hair though.

What's your opinion on the upcoming French elections and the Front National?
They're called far right because the media are lazy, and they want to stop their influence and call them far right to compare them to the nazis.

me n de lads

>What's your opinion on the upcoming French elections and the Front National?
FN are gonna dominate the first round, but I predict collusion by the other main parties to ensure that any chance of success in the second round is stonewalled. However, if there are a spate of minor terrorist attacks like today's one in the Lourve in the run up to the elections, things may become a lot more unpredictable. Even the Socialists are having to lean right on certain issues on the campaign trail due to the prevailing political winds.

fun fact: burkhas are banned in morocco

my sister is engaged to a guy from cork

I assume that moniker was invented by leftists?

MICKED™

Back after a day long ban lads.

>not evading
cuck

I don't know, but it's a good term and accurate for describing parties like UKIP and AfD.

Of course.
Implicit, barely-disguised contempt is the mark of the leftist.

Only the far-right can love "the people".

what for lad?

I got like two warnings in the last week

>not waiting it out

weak

You can't ban evade if you use a single device, at least that's how it is for me.

I tried resetting the modem and they still caught me since I only use my pc for Sup Forums.

>AfD
Does Germany really have that "white-trash" problem that the *nglish do?

But it makes the idea of restricting welfare to citizens only seem negative.

>what for lad?
I actually don't know.

If you try to ban evade, you don't get to view your reason for the ban.

lads is Kingdom of God good? I have it downloaded but I don't want to waste two hours on le ebil crusaders

lots of proto bydlos there, especially in the postindustrial areas

Don't think they'll win either, the FN have been around for a while too with some people not liking them over the repuation they have build up over the years in power around France unlike with Trump, along with a campaign from everyone else to try and vote against them. I think Le Pen has a better chance against Macron or Hamon over the republicans, but I don't want Macron to be president.
It's accurate enough for them, it isn't accurate for parties like the FN or the BNP.

ah yes UKIP the welfare scrounger party who want to reduce government size and promote the private sector

Parts of it can drag on but its mostly okay.

>I wasted two hours on Arrival yesterday

Not a fan of the French boat.

>but I don't want Macron to be president.
Why not?

As a descendant of Brian Boru, Queen Maedbh and Niall of the Nine Hostages I can say you're all fucking gay.

Its not like that, its a good deus vult film

you're clearly not aware of the way they frame questions of immigration and welfare. they see immigration as the primary stress on the system, despite the funding cuts of the last few years and healthcare tourism barely taking anything out of the NHS' problems

people like Nuttall and the northern faction (Red UKIP) within UKIP don't have the Thatcherite stance towards the economy, healthcare and welfare that the original party base in the south does

(((Niall of the nine hostages)))

O'Neill blood, belong in the bin

>the frog does not like one of the boatwomen
quite strange , how come

*unsheathes claymore*
*cuts you in two in a single swipe*

Very pro EU and pro immigration, don't think this is good for France and the EU now, and he also seems like the same sort of "progressive" that Trudeau is. I imagine he will be shilled by the establishment, particularly because of what happened with Fillon.

*teleports behind you*
*HEEMs you before you even realise what's going on*

I don't her name and I don't like how she looks like the victim of a toothpaste bukkake.

I agree with you on his "progressive" credentials, but why would a pro-EU candidate be bad for Europe?

>but why would a pro-EU candidate be bad for Europe?
He's seems to be pro-EU in the sense that nothing is wrong with it though and it doesn't need to change or reform, it would be better if there was a candidate who would wanted some change in the EU in the second strongest EU country, that candidate doesn't necessarily have to be anti-EU either.

Macron is the embodiment of neoliberal, awful

Wonder if Macron and Fillon will be squeezed between Le Pen on the right and Hamon on the left

>He's seems to be pro-EU in the sense that nothing is wrong with it though and it doesn't need to change or reform
Fair point. To be honest, I hadn't been paying much attention to Macron since he was selected by his party.

>Macron since he was selected by his party
isn't he running as an independent?

Alright lads
If you weren't Irish what would you be?
I probably be Norwegian or Scottish

delete your cache/cookies
dunno which but do both
