You can get a fernandes kit, but ive been hearing talk of a sustaniac pickup that is more well recieved. I wouldnt recommend having it in your only guitar, seems to limit you in some ways. I would never buy a fernandes guitar, only because ive never played one nor will i ever even see one for sell locally thatll give me a chance to play it first. Ive heard their guitars are just ok, nothing spectacular.

Get a boss katana if you're looking for a versatile amp. As far as versatile guitars, well, it still depends a lot on what kind of music you want to play. Anything with a humbucker and a single coil will get you a lot of options.
