It's funny, what it takes for something to be taken seriously. It has to seem conventional enough to not be "edgy" but unconventional enough to not be "for normies". Anything else literally has no chance and it's sad. This is legitimately a high quality, fun show with good writing.

9 times out of 10 Sup Forums is going to hate anything mass appeal like this show. Seinfield is quite an exception. Jane the Virgin is mass appeal while also being about a pregnant latino, based on a telenovella. The show doesn't have a chance to be taken seriously here regardless of how well made it actually is.
