Baseball game takes 3+ hours with not a lot of action

>Baseball game takes 3+ hours with not a lot of action
>Everyone says it's boring and slow and needs to be changed

>Football game takes 3+ hours with not a lot of action
>This is perfectly fine and also the most popular sport in the country

just watch basketball, smash bros melee and anime with the sane people and don't worry about bullshit other people watch

3+ hours 6 days a week vs 3+ hours every Sunday. I wouldn't be a NEET if there were jobs where you work one day a week.

fuck right off no one cares about your pathethic human shit

god you people are disgusting
I wish I was a mitochondrion

seriously kill yourselves

>thinking nobody criticizes football for the amount of downtime in football

where the fuck have you been. seriously, where?

1,000,000 baseball games per season with minimal player on player violence

college football has 10-12 games, NFL has 16-19 games with the freakiest athletes in the world running headfirst into eachother.

/thread

The Bengals/Steelers playoff game last year was more exciting than every baseball game played by every baseball team last year combined.

so THIS is why /nba/ is so gay

Youngstown, Ohio

>NFL 16 games then playoffs where its single game elimination

>MLB 162 games then playoffs where it is best-of-seven series

RedZone has absolutely ruined me.

I seriously cannot sit down and watch a full game of football anymore. It bores me to tears.

Being this ADD.

this desu

I was a total redzonefag for a year until I realized how much of a pleb it turned me into. It's a blast to watch, but it's not worth it if it turns you into someone who picks meme teams.

What happened to Happy Hour threads?

We grew up, ATH went to shit, and Tony+Mike are on vacation half the time

I would guess lots of people watch the monday game, the thursday game, and probably two college and two NFL each on the weekends. That adds up to as much as baseball.

Will we see a resurgence now that it's almost time for regular season?

perhaps.

Following your fantasy team and the rest of the league adds another level of enjoyment and the NFL is the only league where that's actually possible for the average person. You would have to watch like 40 hours of baseball a week if you wanted the equivalent experience. Trust me, I try to keep up with everything in college basketball and it's basically a full time job.

>tfw /hocmlb/ and people in sports bars would rather watch pre season games in NFL than serious pennant races in MLB

Baseball will become the most popular sport in the USA in our lifetime

because preseason football is a million times better than boreball

>baseball happens 5-6 games a week for your team and 162 games in total
>football only has one game a week for your team and 16 games in total

although the nfl is getting more annoying with the longer commercial and the bullshit flags every play.

There's only 16 games a year. Gotta get in the watching while you can.
