Isaac loves BtS though, he said Doug Martsch is "one of the guys he believes should be making music". I think he cited them as one of MM's biggest influences too

and Doug loves Modest Mouse.
It's all good.

LET'S ALL HAVE ANOTHER

Isaac is a sellout, who gives a fuck about his opinions.

Perfect from now on > anything MM released

>tfw broken social scene is better than built to spill

topkek
wrong

AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE BUILT TO SPILL
THEN I DON'T FUCK WITH YOU OR ANYONE YOU KNOW

reminder that Modest Mouse and Built To Spill are sister bands.

Pavement > BTS

GBV > Pavement > BTS > MM

Switch Pavement and GBV and yeah you're right.

Although Propeller is probably the best album among all those bands.

Modest Mouse is just fucking shit.

Top Ten Plebs 2017 [HD]

>sthop lithening to built to thpill

Pavement > GBV > BSS > MM > BTS

Just a reminder that Guided By Voices and Pavement never had any album as relevant as PFNO or LCW for good reason.

Listening to Modest Mouse is akin to eating a fucking dog turd.

just a reminder that modest mouse never had a good album and you're a faggot for listening to them

>we'll all float on : - )

Guided By Voices is so relevant that they have a fucking Guided By Voices Day.

...

>comparing GBV and Pavement to fucking canadian indie
fuck off

What a strange way to say you don't like the music made by Modest Mouse

literally who?
Yeah, indie pop probably shouldn't be compared to Bach tier guitar work like Built to Spill or lyricism as good as early Modest Mouse

BTS is a one-hit wonder.
Isaac's writing skills are twenty-one pilots tier.

Literally every album by Built To Spill is better than GBV and Pavement's entire discographies, besides Untethered and Ancient Melodies.
Slanted and Enchanted and Crooked Crooked Rain were both BTFO when Doug Martsch made a casual autobiographical pop album in 1994.

Isaac Brock's lyricism is god tier.

Sorry it's not

>I'm holding on to hope because it's the only thing holding me :))))
And that's not even including their proto le random XD shit

>Show me a word that rhymes with pavement and I will kill your parents and roast them on a spit

Damn really makes ya think...

nice

This

yeah they both came out of K records and influenced both of eachothers sound

jesus this is such a shit thread. what the fuck happened to Sup Forums

Bee thousand and alien lanes are more relevant though?

Meant for

Except Alien Lanes was a huge influence on The Strokes, who kicked off the early 2000s garage rock revival and completely changed the direction of mainstream rock music. Whether you think that's good or bad is w/e but you can't say GBV are less relevant than MM or BTS desu

>citing float on
you haven't listened to them have you

yes but

everything MM released up to Good News > the rest of the BtS discog
