Pure kino tbhfam

it's over you shills have lost

reminder its durotans fault that everyone died

if they had an intro like this explaining the background story it would have been perfect

youtube.com/watch?v=vlVSJ0AvZe0

That's not how you spell Orgrim or Medivh

It's sad that this movie just won't be talked about much because it was good.

quite right fampai, it was authentic and aesthetic

True, having old played WC3 all the way through and only parts if WC2 a more revealing intro would have have been neat

Daily reminder Gul'dan did nothing wrong

Are you really so invested in the idea of this movie failing that you have to shitpost whenever people are talking about enjoying it?

Examine your life.

>Zerofucks'dan
He was a real nigga. Daniel Wu's pretty fuckin' based.

Daniel Wu fucking killed it.

>tons of new Warcraft threads being made
>all die with less than 10 replies
Delicious.

I just posted in another thread. I'm seeing it at the theater right now. It might be the worst movie I've ever seen. I left to take a shit to take a break from it. I haven't walked out of a movie since The Aristocrats.

> I haven't walked out of a movie since The Aristocrats.

Confirmed bad taste

>phone posting while on the shitter while at the movies
pathetic

>tfw someone else came in the bathroom
>tfw have to be silent until they leave

>Gul'dan did nothing wrong
Pretty sure he overacted in every scene he was in.

Just got back from seeing it. I liked it, but I know all the lore. I feel like if I didn't I wouldn't know what the fuck was going on or care about any of the characters.

That would require them to actual include Ner'zhul walking around talking with his dead spirits only to run into Kil'Jaeden posing as his dead homie and telling him to unite the clans to conquer Draenor and slay the Draenei.

Basically, more characters and alot more Draenor which I'd be fine with but it would kinda be a clusterfuck

>ignore movie because i expect shit show.
>leave Sup Forums during astro turf campaigns.
>pirate movie and watch it going in with no expectations.

Its a pretty good movie (6/10) but it costing 160 million just isn't believable to me. the budget could have hit under a 100 million and had no drops in quality lotta Hollywood accounting going on.

I didn't play any of the games and felt a combination of this. It was a completely serviceable high fantasy movie, with a few good moments, but a few parts that where a little trite and probably didn't get as fleshed out as they deserved, but it was still a relatively fun film. I went in expecting in the name of the king or something really, really bad. instead I got something a little trite that had some fun moments, but thats not bad for a fantasy film.

It was probably on par with the hobbit films, honestly.

The score really is a thing of beauty. Those opening tribal drums and that BWAHM BWAHM BWAHM BUM BUM BUM are so fucking hype.

KI KI KI KI-KI-KI-KINOOOOOO, KI-KI-KINOOOO

Pros:
>Durotan being fucking based
>Gul'dan being fucking based
>magic actually looking and feeling like fucking magic
>absolutely fucking brutal Orc murder
>fascinating worldbuilding
>kickass Ramin noodles score

Cons:
>too much emphasis on human story
>the entire romance subplot between Garona and Lothar
>pacing was fucking everywhere
>CG tended to be a bit iffy
>loredumping
>sequelbaiting

The quality of the good things far outweighed the bad imo. I dead serious want to watch it again.

based ramin

>too much emphasis on human story
there was no orc story until Duncan Jones got involved. thank him for insisting on focus being split between them.

>pacing was fucking everywhere
this is likely due to 40 minutes being missing from the film by studio mandate

>CG tended to be a bit iffy
??????????????

Half the fun was watching Khadgar be a fuccboi

Hope for Extended Kino Cut brothers.

Movie made for fans, for everyone else it was garbage.

In some places the CG was what I imagine Gollum was like back when LOTR came out: fucking revolutionary.

In others (like baby Thrall) it was a little iffy.

>babby's first OST listen

Literally one of the most generic scores i've heard in quite a while

>muh epic drums

It was almost the only thing the OST consisted of

Ramin Djawadi's music is always secondary to the film itself. it works very well in the context of the film, but to just listen to it, it's rather bland.

Durotan just wanted peace. Orgrim, Gul'dan, Medivh fucked everything up. Shit. Blackhand even had some honor.

I liked the Pacific Rim score, that was good.

>Unrepetently evil Gul'dan

Actually, they made Gul'dan grayer than his game counterpart:

>Saves Durotan's son
>Is right about needing life energy to save the rest of orcs from the crapsack world
>Went Shang-Tsung in Makgora, but cheated

yes, it's very good, but i wouldn't ever listen to it as an album.

Oh, yeah, Blackhand was great too.

>Warned Durotan that he's going to be hunted
>Saved by Durotan from execution
>Didn't allow Shang-Tsung to just waltz away from the fight

The theme of traditions biting Gul'dan in the ass was well done.

Fuck, I keep mixing up Orgrim and Blackhand.

Wasn't Blackhand the one that got his dick sliced open by Lothar? The one with the creepy Fel hand mutation?

>Wasn't Blackhand the one that got his dick sliced open by Lothar?
yes

Yes. But even he had honor:

>Warned Durotan
>Stopped Gul'dan from running away from a fight

The shills are getting pretty ridiculous.

Reminder that Medivh did everything wrong.

the only reason they needed a new world is because guldan fucked up the other one

Literally everything.

That Golem looked fucking awful by the way.

Including acting

YEA THAT MOTHAFUCKA REAL GANGSTERED HIS GANGSTA

First act is pretty bad, I can see while some people would leave.

That's not said in the movie though.

are you retarded? they have multiple conversations about it. learn to listen to the dialogue while you're watching a movie.

youtube.com/watch?v=JFgAnfjnCj4

Mediocre as fuck movie, deal with it.

it's like you guys have no fucking idea how much cg like this costs, life of pi was 120 mil and that didn't have even a fraction of the motion capture, and character models or sets and real actors to pay, it just had lots of water that was really fake looking desu

pacific rim cost 180 million and it had less cg than warcraft did

didn't pacific rim also have much more expensive actors?

That's what Durotan thinks. But how could Gul'dan alone mess up a huge world?

One way or another: he should have tried killing Gul'dan only AFTER the rest of the orcs made through the portal. By stopping Gul'dan, they just doomed the orcs to be stranded there.

Life of Pi was good though.

i'd imagine the only expensive actor was idris elba, charlie hunnam is king ragnar tier from a pretty popular tv show

the dude from it's always sunny might be expensive, i never watched it but it he probably isn't exactly an a-lister

Gul'dans entire character is that he is willing to fuck over anybody and anything in order to get more power for himself, combine that with fel magic being inherently destructive and I'd say it was probs guldan
