This shit is real good
Thanks so much, I really appreciate that.
It's more a consequence of recording live on zero budget. I've been able to make it a little better on upcoming stuff through trial and error.
I've gotta check your stuff out, I'm at work but will be listening to everything in here once I get off
Rec as heck. Also

That's a lie.
Learn music theory, your production is interesting in a kind of r+7 kind of way but I'm entirely uncompelled by the melodies
OOH i missed this. listening now
This is the bleakest glitch music I've ever heard. You've really progressed from sound design curiosities to extremely emotional works of enormous magnitude.

Hey man. I talked to our drummer and unfortunately we have to decline to play Bridgetown. He's in a fuck-ton of other projects and wants to take a break from playing shows (he just got back from a west coast tour). We probably won't begin playing shows until summer. It's great to hear Misery Ritual playing. Kyle is a good friend of mine.
No worries bro. Fissure might also be playing which would be sick. You should still come by if you're free.
I'll consider attending if I'm not super busy with university. Maybe I could invite the YTE guys along if they're interested.

Makes me think of point and click adventures, great stuff. Experiment with reverb a bit more, would also love some more nature recordings like that first track to tie it all together

(Me)
Back as promised.
This is very sweet music, it just sounds very nice. Not necessarily just happy but it just sounds sweet. I mean that as a compliment.
Love your voice, sort of reminds me of Sparklehorse. Wonderful music.
This is great, stellar sound, very dreamy and surfy.
It's reporting back
Thanks man, glad you like it. I'll definitely mess around with more reverb on for future releases.
Chaotic, noisy and every track is balls-to-the-wall. Favorite track is "Gag Order."
This is really nice. I don't listen to a lot of stuff with post-punk tendencies, but I can hear why that tag is applied. The music is easy-going and dreamy, but some hints of uneasiness and turmoil surface. Really like the bass lines throughout, especially on "Totaled Ambulance" and "Pretend Therapist."

Got a new album out feb 14th!
Am also from oregon. Guitars are cozy. Vocal melodies remind me a lot of early Dr Dog records. Odd voice, lowkey your dictation and pitch are kind of goofy but not even a bad thing desu. I definitely dig the chords on the song Nova Slow and the transition into the drums is fucking smooth. I'm buying this record as soon as I get paid, because currently I only have $2 in my bank account from bandcamp sales.
>9/10
Is nice if a bit memetic at times. Your rhythm section is really strong and reminds me a lot of early modest mouse for some reason. Would like to hear something with a bit more structure and vocals from you guys because I think you've got a sound that's pretty unique and for some reason brings to mind the imagery of sun-bleached glam rockers on mars.
>7.6/10
Already reviewed these niggas and I like em

>Would like to hear something with a bit more structure and vocals from you guys
What a coincidence, because that's literally our next album. The drummer is actually a big Modest Mouse fan, so that's not a coincidence.

Rec-zilla:
(gonna listen in a few mins, will give feedback soon, mate)
Yeah a lot of the muddy production is to cover up how cheap the recording equipment is desu, a lot of the vocals here were recorded when I was like 17 in my garage on a $50 mic. It was all we had and I thought it would be better to just release the songs than to let them die.
I understand your conditions, but at the same time, a bit of equalization can make up for poor equipment. It's a useful tool if used properly.

Okay mate, I just finished the album.
I love the ambience and the occasional sounds of rain, and I like how the basic keyboard tones are unchanged, it ties the album in with the previous release nicely. I do like the new tones as well, especially the one on Something Dark and Unwholesome Lurks in the Shadows, really creeps me the fuck out, but in a good way!
I really like how the cover is vastly improved, it was actually one of the things I recommended in my first feedback some time ago. I'm also a big fan of owls, although that has nothing to do with your new album, which is in essence, wven better on all fronts than the first one.
DL'd, will rec for life
Why should you expect other artists to respect your art if you can't even be bothered to click other people's posts and write the phrase "recc" underneath it.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it! I've been listening to a lot of John Carpenter soundtracks lately, so I think that had an influence on this release. The tone you mentioned on "Something Dark and Unwholesome Lurks in the Shadows" is probably the most direct example of that influence. I did take your feedback about album art to heart and decided to use a Theodor Kittelsen illustration rather than alter a photo and draw some borders on it in ms paint.
I eagerly await your new EP! Do you have an estimated date that will be released?

Not a fan of the vocals, but the instrumentals are on point, great production.

Thanks for the review. The album was done clean but I hated the way it sounded.
Will listen to you in a bit, at work and on A shitty phone!
Thanks for your previous support, don't know if I mentioned it in the previous thread. Also dig your music, good for late night skateing x
you did a couple weeks back, but good to hear from you again man, just interested in whether Abstract Creation came out before or after You Heard This Before But I Thought Of It First? i couldn't make up my mind which were supposed to be the 'better' versions of the re-recorded songs
here, thanks for your support man, just checked out your EP. i liked it, really nice and shimmery, especially the guitar work on Catrin. just the right length as well
