How did Kyle Reese adjust so fast to 1984? He should've been in fucking shock, regardless of his mission. He immediately knows what cops are, what a department store is among other things.

Who the fuck cares, he was a fucking soldier from a future where robots rape women to death is he really supposed to be shellshocked by guys in uniforms?

Fucking idiot.

good thing he found those punks with that cool 80s aesthetic to steal clothes from, imagine if he went the whole movie dressed like a dork

Because he was told?

There was a deleted scene where Kyle and Sarah have an argument and it tumbles into a grassy meadow. Kyle is overwhelmed by the beauty of the Old World and talks about how he "doesn't belong here" and then cries.

in one recent spinoff comic one of Kyle's resistance pals goes back on time and mentions how the 80s was like paradise compared to 2024, with so much food and freedom

>guy coming at you with a gun
>run of course
>stumble into a store with clothing
>grab something to wear
>footwear was different in the past

The better question is how did he know how to read the phone book

Impossible. Terminator time travel is one-way. Once you go in, there's no going back.

Unless I misunderstood you and said character was someone old enough to remember what life was back then.

by observing other people doing it?

Honestly, how are you all so fucking stupid

It's interesting because those deleted scenes delve a bit into what would be the plot of Terminator 2. To prevent the "bad future" from happening.

Personally, I always preferred the slightly more pessimistic yet still hopeful ending of T1. The bad future is still going to happen but humanity will win in the end regardless.

Dan Stevens as Kyle Reese when?

sounds like a little bitch tbqhwy

no he is as young as Kyle, in the comic the guy eats food from a trash can from a chinese restaurant and says to himself (in a thought bubble, you know comics stuff)how is the best meal in his life

Because they don't have tv or any kind of media so stories about the past would have been told a lot more and people would have been a lot more interested in them. He probably had a pretty accurate mental picture of pre war society from hearing so many stories about the olden days. Plus he was spec ops so would have been briefed a lot better than the everyday pleb.

Because the second movie is much better.

John Connor was a kid in the 90s, you don't think he would have imparted some of the knowledge on Kyle to help him survive?

He was probably required to study a bit before his mission.

Kyle want the punani

Cops use basic military strategy. Reese is a lifetime soldier, he obviously must know how to outwit some fat policemen.
The department store was kind of a lucky find, but he had due with the resources available.

you seem like an excitable guy but you have a real way with a response.

>future of humanity depends on your mission
>actually prepares for it
There ya go. Now stop trying to impose real world logic on action movies and fucking enjoy your talkies.

Wasn't he John Connor's best friend? John Connor who group up before judgement day and knew all about the old world and probably told Kyle Reese all about what life was like before the war?

you fucking idiot
