WELL GOOD

how do you not recognize django reinhardt newfuck

...

wasnt commenting on OPs list was replicating a typical /mu response.

but thanks for input...dumbfuck

try again- I recognize the vast majority of the OPs 100...indeed have even seen Chet Atkins live (among many others on that list but since hes in the top 3- Tommy E opened for him)

So...thanks for playin and fuck off.

most of the people in this thread haven't done that though

No Derek Trucks? Surely an oversight.

(I will let Warren slide - no pun intended)

As much as I like and respect ol Maybell...just not buying that she is better...or more "great" than SRV or STV

Please explain.

How the fuck has David Gilmour not been posted? Have you people even heard Dogs?

The GOAT

Gilmour has amazing phrasing. No matter where he's playing you can always tell a Gilmour solo. Technically I wouldn't say he's so great. Hell even his band mates call his style "fumbling."

>more great

>1. Andres Segovia
>2. Django Reinhardt
>3. Chet Atkins

>no Eric Johnson

Oh I am laffin

Disagree, one of the few Duane quotes I'm aware of is "Dickey was the good one, I was the famous one"

So, Duane was humble too...but you really think Dickey was better? No snark just curious...dickey is amazing saw him dozens of time but...still dont see it.

Yes. Look at One Way Out. Dickey on main guitar just burns everything down while Duane takes a great slide solo but just isn't as breathtaking as Dickey's stuff. I really like Duane's slide but too often it devolves into playing the dog whistle notes a la Layla.
