The Most Beautiful intro Marty has ever done in any of his films EVER

One of Scorcese's two good films

read

better than rocky, that's for sure

...

kinography. a bit brittle at first considering how unlikable la motta is, but as scorsese opens you up to him and puts you in his shoes with those great fight scenes i came around. by the end i was in his corner

Ashita no Joe is better.

What's the difference?

Scorsese's best, and my second favourite of his, only behind Taxi Driver. The scene of Jake in jail just tears my heart apart.

I thought it was a masterpiece. Painful to watch at times, but then again, that's kind of the point.

pretty much this.

excellent in about every way, but makes you feel like shit for the rest of the day

I was quite surprised when I discovered that Jake LaMotta is real and still alive, at 95 yrs old.

Holy shit. That's a tough old bird right there.

Sup Forums actually discusses video games quite regularly.
