ITT:

Artists who are quantity over quality.

seriously fuck buckethead. great player but all his albums sound really mediocre.

This dude has wayyyyyyyyyyyy too many mixtapes

...

he's just autistic, leave him alone

I can't think of a single artist with a perfect discography

>what is Population Override?

Yo La Tengo

Guided by Voices

Their better albums are fucking masterpieces though

...

Drake

He has maybe 1 good song for every 10.

I haven't heard their entire discography but what I've heard is pretty perfect. Boring but perfect

Riff Raff

every old jazz musician
a shitton of albums, 90% of them are garbage

That's just most older musicians. Putting out 1 to 2 albums a year used to be the norm.

not Merzbow

Gucci Mane

...

...

...

...

Why is he wearing a shirt of darkthrones worst unholy trinity album?
Everyone knows A Blaze in the Northern Sky = Transylvanian Hunger > Under a Funeral Moon

Pink Floyd... wait, sorry I forgot about AMLOR

Are you fucking joking?

All his albums are good though
His solo work isn't really that large.

Most of them are super damn solid to listen to though from start to finish.

Joy Division

Also, Nick Drake

>All his albums are good though
Yes, and I hate him for that, because everything else about Zappa is detestable except for his music. If only his music were bad so I wouldn't have to listen to it, but it's good, so I have to listen to it, but I can't separate the man from his work.

Nine Inch Nails

The guy fought to keep Christians form censoring music, you have to respect him for that at least.

The Who

But that Devil music will destroy you, my sweet-natured friend...

GYBE

...

Outkast

I like all these bands and still disagree

wanted to post this, seconded

actually yeah, you're right

wait hold up

IDLEWILD

FUCKIN IDLEWILD

you almost had me

UFM is the best you pleb

It's their worst album but it's still alright

When I say "the Who" I obviously mean the Who pre-Moon's death. It's really not the Who without him, it's just three guys who used to be in a band together and some other dude.

viper is quality + quantity tho

Fugazi

The Jimi Hendrix Experience, of course.

Kendrick lamar

Stop right there

Klaus Schulze

(quality kinda but its the same thing over and over again)

he'll be reaching infinity +1 soon

Buckethead is able to play at the highest level one really can play at but is so good that he's like "I want to do this today." and makes what you would consider mediocre music. That's what happens when you have like 200 albums; there's a stark contrast between the great stuff and the rest of the catalog.

He's autist with humungous hands. He does it but think what kind of repertoire he has.

Any other good buckethead albums?
Im diggin it

Kanye West

>inb4 bait
fuck off every album he's made is a solid 8/10 at worst

Jay Electronica

>fuck off every album he's made is a solid 8/10 at worst
Of course because he has money to hire the best music producers and best music writers. Do you really think he is actually composing anything? You don't know how that game works.

Electric Tears and Pike 13 are pretty good

> how much of the music industry is being written by Marilyn Manson alone
> the fucker is a wizard

jeff buckley

a nice little jam session

If we're talking studio then Sex Pistols

can you imagine how better his albums would be if he compressed them?

LCD Soundsystem has a perfect discography.

Prove me wrong fags.

which ones are masterpieces?

I only know Bee Thousand and Alien Lanes

24 albums in 12 months and maybe 5 of them will be decent

This guy is the fucking worst

Tears For Fears

cLOUDDEAD

Crime Slunk Scene my man

>cntrl + f "beck", 0 results

first

Chicago. The bastards have like 150 albums all with names like Chicago II, Chicago VI, Chicago XIII, Chicago XVII, etc.

The Day of The Robot

Population Override
Colma
Crime Slunk Scene
Electric Tears

Also his guest work on

Axiom Funk - Funkronomicon
Praxis - Warszawa

Sehnmuth

You'll only need the first two albums anyway

>It's Hard
>Endless Wire

Dude I like The Who a lot but wut

Metallica

...

RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE

After Kath died they became more of a touring big band with a constantly changing line up as opposed to a defined act.

>Beck
>*Beep*
>Me
>whoa 10/10 i love beck now

You disagree that Nick Drake has a perfect discography? You may want to consider suicide, user.

David Bowie

Vektor

Motorhead

Beatles

Yeah, no.
Try again.

Lulu

Uwe Schmidt and his 1,000,000 aliases

Ahab has yet to make an album that is not at least 8/10

Soulja Boy. Releases like 5 albums a year, the absolute madman.

Toadies actually. I can't think of a Toadies song that isn't good, barring maybe a cover here or there.

Grimes

hardly, he's just been making music for a while

Dillinger Escape Plan

...

>skrillex

Plebs. The only true answer is The Wiggles

his early stuff is good

(You)

fuck off
