Chris Froome had a massive black arrow pointing to the Col de Soudet on the route profile stuck to his stem today. Not very stealthy.

>yfw Froome attacks before the horse category climb and keeps going in the greatest move in cycling history

CyclingQuotes’ stage winner pick: Chris Froome

Other winner candidates: Nairo Quintana, Kenny Elissonde (breakaway)
Outsiders: Robert Gesink, Omar Fraile, Louis Meintjes, Mathias Frank (all from a breakaway)
Jokers: George Bennett, Pierre Rolland, Gianluca Brambilla, Andrey Zeits, Jaime Roson (all from a breakaway)

cyclingquotes steadily becoming hardcore froomefags

hope louis takes some time

Post yfw Froomey attacks before the last climb and goes sanic on the descent taking the red jersey

40 strong meme break has 2.20 already.

...

Sky slaves must be cursing internally, what a day to have to chase.

do any of you have a webm from when he rammed that official when he was still riding for kenya

Aubisque is the perfect finish for Froome, he can get the red today.

Kelly's right, Sky fucked up big time by not sending Konig.

our boy meintjes is too anonymous to do anything of note 2bh

>10k more on this climb

GIVE ALL YOUR POWERS TO THE SKELETON KING LADS.

Little Robot shall win today

...

...

>Carlton and Sean litterally shit talking

>goat boy takes 30 seconds
>froome takes 1:30 on the TT
>exciting and aggressive last few stages

thats the dream

Holy shit these mountains

danger danger

F

I

In during cows

why didn't sky send konig

>sky
>sending someone

FROOME IS GONNA LOSE IT 100% THIS TIME AND HOW WILL YOU TEAM GB KEKS EVER RECOVER WHEN FROOME LOSES AND QUINTANA WINS THE TOUR GAHHAHA

...

...

The absolute madman

Rensburg lives!

Ok, something I never understood in cycling: the whole "team effort"

What is the added plus of other guys riding next to you? Why a team can "neutralize" a escape sending guys to chase a guy who breaks out? How can the sky and movistar guys help Froome and Quintana.

Shouldt a cyclist just ride really fast and thats it?

Plz no bully

if there's a reason to close the gap to a breakaway a team will go ride in front of the peleton and rotate riders around while setting the pace

I enjoy cycling lads

slipstreaming can take away 30% of the required effort, a group will always be significantly faster than a single rider, and a larger group will be faster than a smaller group. If a team in the peloton puts in the work, they could theoretically neutralize any breakway.

>Sporza airing Brussels Cycling Classic instead of Vuelta Queen Stage
You disappoint me, Belgium

you can watch without commentary

>that ultra comfy landscape

makes me a bit sad that im sitting here being hungover desu, its great weather outside here too

But based José is the reason I even watch Sporza

yeah it's kinda dumb since they're in spain and could commentate anyway
but I can't complain too much sporza gives free and good quality streams for a lot of stuff

tfw no tv, and cant stream sporza from the neverlands

euro landscapes are the only reason I watch this meme of a sport

Watching sport direkte streamed to tv, what is it and how far behind is 94k

sport itself is pretty good too man, nothing like watching men giving it their all riding a bicycle up a hill.

watching people die on steep climbs and cobbles is entertaining too

I like doing it myself, but it's not really compelling viewing in its own right Tbqh

Clever

>tfw no Pro Tour events in Gunma where riders drift on downhills under intensified eurobeat

>jesink
jesus fucking christ, kirby

I started loving it after doing it myself, you can just relate to the guys dying up the climbs and that makes it ultra comfy

its actually better to pronounce it like jesink than hesink like most english people would. If you cant pronounce the dutch hard g its better to say it as a j imo.

You now remember Rock Racing

Has Philip Gilbert done fucking anything ever since his UCI WC title?

yep, same here.

Green bar tape is absolutely disgusting

>you cant pronounce the dutch hard g its better to say it as a j imo.

Is it not like the German 'ch'?

will rolf ever stop sucking contadors dick

amstel gold
belgian championship

english people cant do that either. Best for them to do it is to pronounce the g like in guess

guessink

rolf er ren din bavian

Pretty shit resume for a rider consistently heralded as a top world contender 2bh

mate, are you aware that the world championship wasn't his first win?

One of the most obvious cases of a doper who stopped using

Of course; it's the fact that he has been ubiquitously heralded as a top 1 or 2% pro rider thereafter despite having been mediocre for the past five years, even with a top team in BMC around him for support, that I cannot understand

possibly this

>turn on tv
>breakaway of 39
What?

that's because he was top tier in 2011
he mainly focussed on ardennes classics but valverde started destroying him

GC contenders don't care about stage wins anymore
#AgainstModernCycling

this

he was pretty much the best cyclist in the world in 2011

God, it's true though.

>Kirby's pronunciation of Fraile
That can't be right, can it?

scenery looks like it's Austria

I have a 4.51 W/Kg ratio, how much longer until I get sponsored for free cycling apparel and products?

At what, threshold? 1min? 5min?

You'll get noticed when you start doing well in races m8

>that stem

>vuelta in charge of keeping time

Dani Moreno (mov) is the virtual leader at this moment

the gap is now TWO HOURS!!!!

the sky bots will start closing soon enough

they found a short cut

Actually it's 4.87 for a 20 minute outdoor FTP test (after the -5% correction of course), the 4.51 was a recent indoor test which was pretty awful since it was both impromptu and in a hot room

Also I'm not slamming that shit, my scoliosis would become too cumbersome

Haha good luck with that

He is talking about our alpha Belgian boy, Vervaeke.
Right?

he's like 2 hours behind user

The Brits are again complaining that they don't have a top-tier classics rider.
>Rekt at the Olympic mountain road race by a classics rider.
Oh that feeling...

>they don't have a top-tier classics rider
A classics rider is just someone not good enough to win a GC

the fuck are you babbling about?

>A classics rider is just someone not doped enough to win a GC.
Fixed it for you.

>A Classics rider is just someone who isn't the leader of one of the top 3 wealthiest teams.
Let me get that for you.

excluding katusha

To buy and experiment with doping, yes usa, we know your tricks.

What is the strategy of Orica?

Quintana has added his voice to the call for banning power meters in the peloton.

Froome responds with "then we might as well be riding single-speeds".

Agree?

quintana is a whiny bitch

>Quintana has added his voice for the call for banning Spooky British skeletons in the peloton.

Agree. He can still hide his motor in a single-speed bike.
