Are there any MODERATE Trump fans out there? Like, I agree with his platform on certain things, but I'm not just gonna give this guy a pass on some of the dumber things he has said. Immigration? I agree, on stricter borders but a wall isn't going to fix it (nor is mexico gonna pay for it). PC culture? Yeah, I agree, it's retarded, but I don't think he should just walk up and grab a woman. Jobs? I agree, but I don't think Mexicans aren't to blame for our shitty economy.
I tried talking to some Trump supporters about it (as an undecided who fucking hates hillary) but I literally got told to go fuck myself and get a job (lolwut?)
Are there MODERATE Trump fans out there? Are there people out there who support him but still have issues with him? It personally can never 100% a candidate, I feel like I've ALWAYS got something they could do better at, but it seems like if I don't drink the koolaid for Trump, I'm not a true supporter. Thoughts?
Also this isn't a candidate bash, save that for one of the other million threads. Also if you start your response with "but hillary is bad too!" you're a faggot. No shit she's bad.
It's hard to have moderate fans when the Republican campaigns are so ridiculous. Obama is a Muslim, Hillary is the devil. It's like talking to children. If there are moderate Trump fans they're probably too embarrassed to say so. And don't forget Obama wants to kill your grandparents!!
Austin Long
Right here bro. I think her internet astroturfers may have pushed me here more than anything else. Regardless I think he's the best choice.
Adrian Torres
I think a lot of people who "support" Trump just think he is less worse than Hillary. The people at the rallies are bat shit crazy, but I think most people just dislike Hillary more. This election has become "who do think is gonna fuck up this country the LEAST"
Carson Jones
Yeah, that too. Like, I get it if someone doesn't like Obama, but I know he's not a muslim or the fucking antichrist/demon. It's ridiculous.
Nathan Thomas
Does it even matter? This shits already been decided.
Mason Allen
I mean really as a leftist, these two videos are more leftist and in touch with the reality of our society than literally anything that she has said.
I'm just curious about the general community that backs him, not so much the elections themselves.
Jaxon Harris
That has nothing to do with anything. Bot?
Wyatt Ortiz
What? No this is perfectly relevant to the thread dude.
James Bennett
Also there's no way you watched those videos enough to make any kind of judgment on their content.
Lucas Butler
Op here, that wasn't me. Watching em now.
David Ward
I've never actually heard a Trump supporter talk about what Donald Trump will realistically do without resorting to rhetoric or talking about why Hillary is bad. On my own I can see
- he will never get the wall built but will probably try to give border control everything they want. It won't solve the influx of undocumented immigrants because increasing a government office budget rarely results in more efficient or harder work, even as they complain it's understaffed - he will bring back law and order to the streets. You can't force people to respect police and they already have military grade gear as it is. They shoot with impunity and unless you can build trust and accountability at a community level there will be no respect and increases in protests that set the stage for violent behavior on both sides. - he will crush ISIS. The only thing he's proposing to do different is capture and kill family members of known terror suspects and this will likely find him in The Hague along with anyone who carried out the order. - I did see he wants to reform student loans to something more reasonable than what exists. That's not bad. - he wants to slash taxes and claims his budget will create a surplus but taxes are the government revenue upon which surpluses are built. Top Analysts say it won't work. - he is promising to bring back manufacturing jobs, but in a global economy and as a goddamn businessman who knowingly took advantage of laws for his financial gain (that makes him smart), he must know factory jobs are GONE because we can't compete with twenty grains of rice a day as wages. (Exaggerated yes but we can't guarantee livable wages if we compete with foreign countries)
Now it's your turn. Correct me with facts if I'm wrong and add things you have heard about his plans.
Caleb Lopez
Hillary is bad is a totally valid reason to talk about Donald Trump.
Also, I don't know what fantasy world you live in that the US gets prosecuted for committing war crimes but it's not our reality.
Jayden Gray
>bring back law and order to the streets
You do know that crime has gone down all around the country right? How does one bring "law and order" back to the streets.
Want law and order? Get rid of the dumb fucking expensive, unwinnable, drug war.
Jace Walker
It is, if that's why you're voting for him. Him being the lesser of two evils.
But if you're just misdirecting from questions with "hillary is bad because" than you're missing the point.
Zachary Roberts
What is your point? I've been voting for the lesser of two evils since I first registered to vote. That's how it works in America.
Michael Morgan
You ARE missing the point though. Talk about the candidate you're voting for. Talk about what it is you see him doing that makes him the better person for this office. What puts him over Hillary as not the worst?
Julian Perez
Is that a serious question? What does the word corruption mean to you?
Tyler Smith
Why can't it be just voting for the person you disagree less with? I'll go Trump just because I'm pro gun and Hillary isn't. None of the other shit matters, nothing really changes anyway.
Tyler Cruz
I wouldn't have voted for Trump at the beginning, but I guess it's better than the alternative.
I totally agree with you on his shit character OP, you've got to be pretty autistic to think it's okay to say a lot of shit he does. Does he deserve all the hate he gets at this point? Not really. what would really change if he were president? This wall he promises won't happen, and it's pretty pointless too. All he could realistically do would be to fund immigration police more than the military, and that's not going to work out that well. I think we'll get mixed results on the rest of his policies.
Personally I think he's not going to get much done as president, maybe a few things here and there until someone from tumblr assassinates him. As for defeating ISIS, pretty much any candidate who uses the phrase "we're/I'm going to stop ISIS" will get the same results as him. Dead or nearly dead. At this point both of them seem like giant corrupt jackasses. It's pretty easy to see that both care more about themselves/their agenda than the American people.
Jordan Phillips
>You think that exists
Isaiah Harris
Or just get rid of niggers
Jace Price
Just as a side note, we have federal immigration police and they're a branch of a full sized domestic paramilitary organization. They easily have the ability, the resources and the manpower to find and round up millions of people.
Jaxon Phillips
I think the wall thing will just turn to a reinforced border with mexico. I think its a classic business platform, you say a ridiculous idea. and then tone it down to make your actual goal obtainable.
Most supporters of him are retarded but he is the best option.
Julian Bailey
But have they?
Elijah Lewis
What do you mean? Have they done it? No they haven't gotten the order to do so.
Benjamin Wilson
I'm voting for Trump for the simple reason that I think he can't get anything done. Either of these is a placeholder president because no one wants them. He'll meet unilateral opposition from Democrats, and mostly opposition from Republicans, and will be stymied at every turn. Hillary, by contrast, will appoint her cronies to the supreme court and is savvy enough at the political game that she can effect some real damage. Apart from that, her victory represents the legitimization of the SJW bullshit we logical, moderate human beings are waging war on. It's hard enough to fight them when they're under 20% of people, imagine how bad it will be if one's the president.
Andrew Turner
the guy at work listens to Alex Jones. apparently Alex Jones has been pimping Trump to all his cult followers. now my co-worker cant stop talking about how Hillary is Illuminati and how awesome Trump is.
this election has been extremely weird for me. i felt i have defended Trump 100x more than Hillary. i believe Hillary Clinton is just another corrupt politician who is only running because they need to get that Presidential achievement medal. i believe that Trump is just a typical billionaire businessman that also wants the Presidential achievement medal.
but i have been defending trump because i feel that the news has been doing everything in its power to make Trump look bad. wikileaks Russian conspiracy!!!!???????? news: sure we know that these files are 100% authentic......BUUUUUUUT is it the Russians who are trying to meddle in the presidential elections???? we truly don't know because wikileaks wont tell us the source...so we are just going to agree with US government and say that it was the Russians.
Zachary Reyes
If nothing ever changes, why vote? To briefly give in to the delusion that your vote counts? This country is vastly different than the one that existed 60 years ago, and it's largely due to elected officials validating the people's demand for social change in the hopes to get reelected by those people. Time was in this country if a black man approached a white woman the local white men could hang him from a tree and cops would show up with extra rope. Lynching a nigger was like a goddamn social event if you look at how many photos exist of crowds watching it happen.
Who you put in office matters, and socially speaking, Trump validates the concerns of white nationalists and people who believe minorities and women need to remember their place. He wants to institute stop and frisk nationwide. He wants police to conduct warrantless searches of anyone they feel looks shifty. It's a racial profiling disaster waiting to happen (again) and a violation of rights guaranteed by the constitution. And what he says from a position of the most powerful office matters, worldwide. Even as one of two candidates he's experiencing worldwide attention toward what he says, and it's bad attention. There are ramifications to who sits in that chair. He doesn't know how to do the job. You can't just wing it when the stakes are that high.
Nicholas Baker
This. Opinions and votes this election seem to be more driven by hatred towards the other side rather than support of the candidate voted for
William Carter
we can't verify that these women are telling the truth. >he groped me over 25 years ago >i never told anyone about it >i have no proof >this is 100% hearsay >i am a journalist >proof, who needs proof! news: SOMEBODY GIVE HER A GODDAMN MIC! BREAKING NEWS!!!!
Jace Perez
So you'd rather have some ultra-conservative that Pence is going to appoint sitting on the scotus?
I mean, lgbt-whatever bullshit is one thing but I don't want them suddenly start reversing legal weed laws and restrict abortion availability to the point where we stick coat hangers up some twats in dank basements.
Julian Peterson
I'd consider myself a moderate. I do support Trump as well. I think that his economic plans are correct, and much of what he is saying needs to be considered instead of ignored. However, I don't agree with his policy on surveillance or bombing foreign nations. Since Hillary also has the same policies, I am voting for Trump.
Owen Robinson
>cant wing it Much better to roll into office with a plan for how to profit from it, like hitlery
Justin Harris
I get that, and he can't be indicted for it, but he also bragged about doing it, so I don't see it being too far from the truth. He literally endorsed it himself. If the women just came out of nowhere being like "he touched me" I'd be a bit curious. But with his own words damn him in this situation.
Like I said, he can't really get in trouble for it with no proof, but I can make some assumptions based on both his words and the women's accusations.
Angel Roberts
I loathe Trump, but Hillary is dangerous and worse. We already know the media will hound his every move; the same media that ignores ALL the shady shit she does.
John Sanders
Yes!
James Cook
The sjw shit is so overblown. If you live in the real world you don't see this shit, ever. Oh no some college campus somewhere has stupid kids doing something stupid. No shit.
Thomas Smith
Honestly, what is someone like you doing on Sup Forums?
Jose Parker
get a fucking job and dont sit at a computer all day pretending you have any impact on society with your petty vote.
William Green
yeah he bragged. so he is (or at least was) a disgusting human being. but a news organization giving airtime to people who have zero proof is just bad. you aren't a news organization at that point, you are a rumor blogsite. even TMZ has standards.
Owen Cruz
i only support trump because Hillary should be in jail and is the embodiment of a flip flop.
Jaxson Harris
>implying Trump isn't a flop flop
Jose Bailey
>implying both aren't flip flops
Blake Reyes
Thanks for being a reasonable human being.
Tyler Stewart
W had a plan for Iraq when he went in and Halliburton was lined up to profit. I don't quite see Hillary starting a war for profit motive. Progressives have been trying to draw down the wars started in the 00s. The worst thing anyone has said about Hillary is that it would be an extension of Obama's administration, and he's scaling the war back immensely but still fighting fights that need fighting. I don't see her going in that direction. If this is a Clinton foundation complaint, the foundation itself does good things and if the worst thing she did as Secretary of State was get people to donate money to causes that help in order to get her attention, that's still not profiteering. It's a charity for fucks sake, and certainly a more accountable one than places like the Red Cross.
I'm not saying that's not shady, but it's not shady for profit or to the detriment of the world or even the US. Is she corrupt, or is she just able to move through various social groups within congress because she knows how to make a deal?
And if she can get congress to agree on shit, that's not bad. Worst case scenario they obstruct her like they do Obama and she doesn't change much of anything for four years. So tell me more about the specific harm she will do
Benjamin Cooper
Implying I'm not starting a small business where your flip flops have a trump face on the right and clint face on the right
Noah Ramirez
>its why i voted for Johnson mmm no lines during early voting.
Caleb Baker
Well I agree on that to a point. I do think they should make mention of the allegations, especially since he pretty much said it himself, but I wouldn't be doing week long god damn specials about it with nothing but stories from the 80s.
BUT he's also running for president, so I understand WHY they are doing it. But, it should definitely be on both side. This one sided media shit is so ridiculous, BUT, when you have a story (and trump is always the story) you run with it.
So I get it, it's just stupid.
someone like what?
Noah Evans
What do you need to know? Why i chose him? Do you want to discuss economic plans? I like to think im not irrational. I dont support everything he has said. Just like every president in history. But i have no shame in my decision. Anyway. What do u want to know?
Lincoln Stewart
Trump isn't perfect, but no candidate will ever be. The random shit he says that is kind of crazy, I chalk it up to the way a lot of businessmen talk, especially in private. I can't have another of these socialist, blind idealists in office though, so Trumps rough edges are kind of beside the point to me if he wants to take the strangle hold off of businesses, reduce taxes, control the border, and things that this country really needs that Hillary the idiot will never do because a lilly liberal can never make the hard decisions that must be done.
Ryan Cox
>I don't think Mexicans aren't to blame for our shitty economy He doesn't think Mexicans are to blame, government regulation is to blame and he has said this many times
Isaac Martin
As to what exactly
There's not a whole lot of specific talk about Trump the candidate, so I'm asking you guys to expound specifically on what the dangers of a Clinton presidency are. So far it's a lot of empty adjectives
Jordan Morales
>implying I voted for gary
Libertarianism doesn't work mate. I hate all the possible candidates.
Jeremiah Parker
>a wall won't fix everything
No one's saying it will, dipshit. It's a deterrence. It's meant to be a barrier between our nations and allow the border patrol an easier way of closing the loopholes. that's like saying banks shouldn't have vaults because people can still drill through them to rob them.
>mexico won't pay for it.
There's more to "paying for something" than actually exchanging money for a service or item. for example, the US send Mexico millions in foreign aid every year. simply by reducing the amount of foreign aid and putting that saved money towards our wall is making mexico "pay for it."
Ayden Price
That works then. I just find it bizarre when people act like he has no flaws. Everyone has flaws. I literally got threatened cause I brought this same question up. Dumbs gonna dumb I guess.
Gavin White
I hate Hillary, but I love this country. Everything Trump says is helping our enemies and hurting our democracy. I hope he loses, then has a stroke and loses the ability to speak.
Tyler Torres
i know it doesn't work. but i feel less dirty voting for him. he has no chance of winning. voting for Trump is dirty. voting for Hillary is voting for more of Bush/Cheney administration. this is my protest vote.
Egging on the most dangerous country in the world (other than the US) would hurt the whole world.
Isaiah Ross
Trust me, pal, I deal with it every damn day.
Carter Sullivan
>Cheney the Puppet-master
Blake Long
>hurting our democracy kek, right.
Josiah Thompson
no one is perfect user...
Vote for less criminals on our streets. Vote trump.
illegals go home!
Logan Hughes
just give us back our bikes and gtfo pls
Jeremiah Smith
I agree but I didn't want to antagonise him too much. Directly confronting a Trump voter who complains about sjw would trip the retard meme-spewing machine into maximum overdrive.
Liam Reed
Hillary is a seizure ridden puppet with an attitude of a psychotic child
Tyler Rivera
Nope. If you can't separate yourself and be as far removed from the biggest pile of human excrement on earth (Trump), then you're part of the problem - and - you'll forever be on the wrong side of history - even after he loses! He's not the answer. Shame on you for thinking he is qualified, because he's not.
Landon Sanchez
Trump is too incompetent and inexperienced to be able to chose a candidate. Just remember how they pitched the VP option to Kasich.
Camden Ward
Trump: more Bush/Cheney abusing their powers. "lets just bomb North Korea into freedom" Clinton: more Bush/Cheney government cover ups. "lets destroy these 22 million emails"
Asher Collins
Yeah everyone has flaws, so when they're like, 'so and so threw poo at a clown at the circus in 1992' i'm like, 'yeah, we all threw poo at someone at some point. what are the real issues?'
Brody Ortiz
Big words! She's your next President.
Zachary Gomez
She could be literally in a coma and still be a better choice than Trump.
True, but someone in a coma would be a better choice than either of the candidates. Including Johnson and Stein.
Jace James
>having Kaine become your President. an autistic kid. oh jesus christ. id rather have Hitler Jr aka Pence.
Austin Reed
> I hope someone actually does punch him in the mouth while pulling his orangutan weave off and stomping on it.
Elijah Barnes
This. I literally just read the deportation numbers yesterday. Obama HAS deported more illegals than the last few presidents, if not all of them. Fact.
That's not to say he doesn't have other issues, but on this one, the fact is, he HAS deported more.
Michael Howard
her laugh face is bonkers, her eyes blank out and stare inward at some deep psychosis
Camden Flores
And you think Hilarys campaign is any better? Hilary supporters are every bit as bad if not worse than trumps. And this is coming from a neutral who can't stand either.
Isaac Parker
Top kekkers
Kayden Edwards
what ever happened to deez nutz? will he run when he comes of age? we sure could use him now
Ian Cook
I'd like him more if he wasn't so clearly just pandering to retards and doesn't believe almost anything he says.
I also dislike how he's willing to bend over for Putin. I hate both but I respect Hillary more for telling Putin to suck a fat one.
James Perry
dat foreign policy.
Jason Thomas
lost me at >you can't even get a fucking Percocet
Lucas Cox
Moderate Republicans died out several years ago.
Source: I am a former Moderate Republican who is now Independent.
Isaac Taylor
I hear ya. It sucks man. If repubs stopped embracing crazy they'd be a powerhouse in this political climate imo.
Oliver Sullivan
Oh well, my hope with Trump is that he is the GOP's "Come to Jesus" moment.
I pretty much voted for Kasich and watched the dumpster fire grow.
Jaxson Sanchez
DUDE RELIGION BASED SOCIAL ISSUES LMAO
They did it to themselves
Mason Brooks
True, the GOP made their bed, now they can lie in it.
Nathan Johnson
>implying the DNC aren't doing the same. >nobody voting for Hillary is doing it because they like Hillary. >half of them wanted a Socialist. in another 8 years, a Jill Stein candidate will be running as a Democrat and will probably be popular.
Owen Lee
Agreed. When they gaveled Trump in despite the roll call at the convention, the GOP leadership sealed the fate. Trump will never get more than 30%. That is the default.
The GOP needs to clean the leadership out. We need real conservative republicans to provide a real choice. We have a libtard and a communist wanna-be. You decide who is who.
Lucas Phillips
DNC doesn't have nearly the identity crisis and "oh shit our house is on fire fuck what's going on why am i crying" situation the GOP does.
Jayden Morris
...
Chase Bailey
There's actually more people than I'd expect who do legitimately like Hillary. I see it with a lot of gay guys who have that weird "you go girl" "yasss sister" queeny shit I can't fucking stand and will never understand.
Oliver Richardson
that is why i said in another 8 years. Hillary was going to just run unopposed until outta nowhere, Socialist Sanders started talking. went from 1% to about 40% of the votes. the liberals just ate his shit up. the DNC realized that the liberals are okay with a Socialist.
Grayson Morales
Sanders getting attention is because he was something different, people initially wanted Biden but that never happened obviously. If it was Biden/Sanders the election would have been over months ago
Ryder Robinson
I can't tell who is more obnoxious as of late.
Clinton supporters, or Trump supporters.... .... .... ....Eh, I think i'll go with Clinton supporters. They are so goddamned smug and elitist.
