: Very nice beat. Quite spacey with a huge atmosphere. However, at certain points it seemed the beat pattern was out of tempo.

: I very much like the combination of acoustic and electronic music on this track. Nice, smooth vocals, thought they seemed a bit shaky regarding pitch in that electronic break at the track's center. Also, the cymbal crashes at the end of the track seemed a bit out of place to me.

: The percussion on this track is very clean and crisp; nice work on that. The subtle sample (especially that occasional double snare hit) is pretty nice as well. However, I would've enjoyed a bit more bass and a larger presence regarding the sample on this track. For that latter point, a good example of what I'm trying to say can be seen with J Dilla's instrumental to "Shake It Down," in which the sample, much like in your track, is simply and undercurrent; at the end he brings the sample up, allowing it to be heard more clearly. Aw, that's a shame but thanks for the comment. I have other music besides just housey dance music. My earlier tracks last year were more bass or ambient focused.

yeah i know what you mean when you say add instruments. there's a lot of space in the track.

i've experimented with tempo and personally i like it slower for that song because i sample from aquasonic 2014 and i wanted to preserve that slow, underwater feel. and adding trap to a slow feel kinda makes it feel like a houston chopped and screwed type deal.

dude your beat is super clean, i love the percussion. there's so much subtlety in the instrumentation but the drums are super in your face. and they don't get stale like a lot of boombap because of the subtle work with the hats that you don't hear in other boombap beats
