Yes, and he is so much better
Tom Cruise is the greatest action star of all time
Wouldn't it be Jason Bourne? I mean, they have the same initials.
the Bourne movies aside from 1 are garbage though.
...
Mission Impossible > James Bond
You know it is true.
that's not a franchise
Casino Royale > Mission Impossible > James Bond
I prefer MI to both Bourne and Bond films. It has JUST the right mixture of camp and seriousness with good humor and lots of thrills. Cruise is based, but he suffers from being almost the same person in all his movies.
Bourne is good for some thrills and a visceral plot, but it's utterly humorless and bleak and takes itself so seriously. Not to mention Paul Greengrass's cancer shaky cam nonsense.
James Bond is all over the place and the story goes nowhere.
Hunt : alpha American operator
Bond : beta Brit schoolboy
2>5>3>4>1
not true by the way

3 > 1 > 5 > 4 >>> 2
I hate bourne. Qos is better than all bournes. I like mission impossible the best
I liked 3 a lot it used to be my favorite but that was before I saw 2 and rewatched 5. I probably should do iii again
sjw spotted
>humorless Paul Greengrass retard camera
fuck that. I loved 1 but Supremacy ruined everything.
At least Legacy brought some humor back and had better action that was actually understandable.
I can get behind this, although I liked Rogue Nation more than Ghost Protocol.
>QoS is better than all Bournes

They're all so good that it really comes down to personal taste.
Even 2 is a fun, albeit mindless action movie.
Nah, the Ethan Hunt character will die with Cruise whereas the character of James Bond will outlive us all.
What went so right?
I guess.
A Villian who quite literally couldn't give less of a shit about playing fair.
No it's Indiana Jones.
Not a spy but and action icon.
