So now that the dust has settled

...who was the bigger bust?

goff has like zero special physical tools, and he's kind of an idiot in interviews and shit. just kinda limited vocab and not smart in general

wentz has the big hands, height, size and good athleticism for a whiteboy. also seems more personable.

goff will probably bust harder

one of them is starting week 1, and the other is 3rd string behind case fucking keenum
i'll let you decide

This. If the Eagles manage to develop him right, Wentz has a chance to be good. Big if though.

Goff is fucked

To be fair the Eagles other option is Chase fucking Daniel

rams fucked up big time. the 2017 QBs will probably be better than anyone from the past few

sean mannion is the rams 2nd string, he's not any better than daniel

as someone who went to the same schools as him... goff is a fucking retard. granted he's athletically gifted and could have at least play D1 in baseball or basketball too, but he's been coddled for every stage of his career. he'll probably get BTFO like we did in peewee football in the cody paul video.

he also gets girls by saying he likes taylor swift's music. weird dude.

This is why Fisher demoted him. Probably trying to shake his confidence just a little internally than let him get BTFO in the first game.

>watching hard knocks
>rams look like shit tbqh, thanks for letting the nfc west know this.

fisher and his staff are horrible. no wonder his teams are trash. the defensive coordinator belongs as a "cool preacher" at one of those hip churches that play rock music.

I literally cringed when they tried to play Tavon Austin up as an elite receiver. Rams are going 4-12.

Goff is shit, literally Sam Bradford 2.0.
Wentz has the size strength and speed to be a great QB, and he doesn't seem like a retard like Goff, but the Eagles will probably fuck up his development so who knows.

William Hayes could be a star based on his personality if he makes the pro bowl this year...but yea, if the show is making seem like Case fucking Keenum is an elite talent and not many other players on the team are portrayed as highly as him, then you know they are going to be shit.

White privilege

I remember watching Goff in the first or second Hard Knocks video and he couldn't even take a snap. kek

Wentz probably would've ended up a serviceable QB but he's had 1 preseason's game of NFL experience and now he's being thrown into the fray. Eagles are pretty much ensuring the early end of his career, not surprised.

Reminder that if NFL teams didn't overhype and overvalue QBs so much nowadays and if the Rams and Eagles weren't so desperate for a QB these guys wouldn't have gone first and second let alone in the first round at all.

Wentz didn't have enough time to show us stuff because of the injury. Didn't help that Pederson kept him in for far too long and the fact that the O-line was awful. Still, Wentz showed some pretty good flashes so time will tell. And if he sucks, there's plenty of good QB's coming out next year.

Goff however is a fucking bust. He was horrible in preseason, shit even Lynch is going to have a better career than him

Drafting Todd Gurley was probably the smartest thing the Rams have done it god knows how long, so I'll give them that.

Biggest problem for the Rams though is Kroenke. Dude is a shit owner who can't do anything right.

Well the whole plan this year was that Bradford would start, and Wentz would be third string and learn the ropes from Daniel and Pederson. But when Bridgewater got hurt and the Vikings were beyond desperate for a QB, Eagles couldn't help but jump at the chance to get their 1st round pick back.

>but the Eagles will probably fuck up his development so who knows.
To be fair, Pederson served under Reid, and Reid at least knows how to develop a good QB, so long as you forget that Kolb happened. And no before you say Foles, remember Foles was a beast before the Eagles O-Line started collapsing thanks to Chip Kelly's ignorance.

Since drafting Steven Jackson?

Funny how they can draft good RB's yet can't even draft a proper QB to save their lives

Goff can't memorize simple plays

wentz has been shining all camp and is already starting over a veteran which shows he is more ready to take the helm than a veteran

Wentz struggled in camp at times though

Foles was never good.

Anyone else think Lynch is going to have the best career out this QB class?

Generic rookie qbs #124 and #125

Why is it so hard to be good QB in NFL? Isn't there a shortage of QB? And why? Pls explain to an ignorant frenchman.

It's hard to make the transition from college since the defense in NFL is infinitely stronger and faster. It's not so much having the talent at QB as it is having a solid offensive line to give the QB time in the pocket

Reid knows how to develop QBs, but Pederson isn't Reid, so it's still a mystery whether he can or cannot develop QBs.

>remember Foles was a beast before the Eagles O-Line started collapsing thanks to Chip Kelly's ignorance.
Foles' success that year was mostly due to the fact that it was Chip's first year in the NFL and teams didn't have much footage to game plan against. Also, we had one of the best Wide Receiver cores in the league. Also, we had a really good Offensive Line, as you said.
Chip Kelly really, really fucked the Eagles.

These are the requirements for a modern QB:
>be tall
>be intelligent enough to understand your playbook and every play
>be intelligent enough to read the opposing defense and predict what they will do
>be able to look over a giant mass of fat guys and see which receiver is open
>be able to correctly choose the open receiver in 3-4 seconds
>be able to correctly throw a precise and well timed pass
>do all of this while a bunch of superhuman black dudes are trying to murder you
It's a really difficult job. Plus, many colleges these days use super simple offenses that fucks up NFL development.

Wentz

>guy with glass bones being thrown into the sharks week 1
>guy who will get his chance late into the season when his team is riding an 8 game losing streak
let's discuss topic this again in a couple months

>thrown into the sharks week 1
>Eagles vs Browns
