ITT bands that get progressively worse with each album
ITT bands that get progressively worse with each album
All of them
How do they consistently manage to lower the bar with every album?
When Centipede Hz came out, I thought to myself "Ok this is rock bottom. They can't possibly sink any lower."
Boy was I wrong.
go to bed, Pierro
Death Grips were consistently getting better until JD
I think you mean
>bands that were NEVER good
what a shit opinion
fuck off you little rat faced kike
No
No
No
ITT: shitty opinions
Arcade Fire
Pavement (I think Slanted and Crooked are both 10/10 tho)
The Sword
crazy diamond >>> dark side
checkmate atheists
Radiohead
Exmilitary is their best work you faggot
>he can't into NotM
Modest Mouse
not a band, but Scott Walker would like to have a few words with you
The Doors
yes. although BNooS was good, but it was earlier recording so who knows.
Crazy diamond isn't the name of the album you dumb bitch
And also you're wrong.
DSOTM is 8/10 (would be 9/10 without Money)
WYWH is 7/10 at best
...
b-but user, MPP is a masterpiece
How people can say that Piper at the gates of Dawn is Pink Floyd's best album is beyond me. It's honestly entirely unfathomable to me how you could prefer it over what I think is PF's golden era (Dark side, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall). There's just so much more on offer musically and lyrically in those 4 albums that there is in their earlier stuff. Over their entire discography, Echoes was PF's turning point. That song sparked an upward trend in quality in my eyes and it was where they really found their sound.
All of this
...
Yeah when you're a 19 year old "indie" kid
Not a band but definitely Nas
People always say they don't like MPP but the reason they don't like Centipede Hz is because it wasn't MPP DLC.
*tips fedora* *sips tea* *watches anime*
this this THIS
got em good
Sup Forums trying to be different as usual
Are you trying to start a new pasta
Cool meme user. I bet r/music will love it.
eh
Technically not wrong but I still enjoyed Centipede Hz and Painting With
>Arcade Fire
Correct
>Radiohead
Incorrect
Correct
I guess(?)
lol long drive isn't their best album you dork
No, I'm not. You're free to use it as one. I'm just giving my two cents.
The guy who said Exmilitary is their best is correct, and also Jenny Death was incredible.
>Kirk flipping you off like he's tough shit
Muse
If you swap Showbiz with Origins of Symmetry, it's correct.
AnCo fans on Sup Forums are as contrarian as they come.
I don't know why /moo/ likes to argue against this so much. It's the undeniable truth.
you think atom heart mother is better than dark side or the wall?
black keys
loosely yes but not entirely
fuck off, always were shit
...
It's why they call it progressive rock.
It's a good album, but yes you are right, the 70s was their best decade. However it is not an unpopular opinion, look at everyone responding that you are correct. There's just a good amount of Syd Barrett fan contrarians on Sup Forums, which is okay.
These fucking cunts
The decrease in quality doesn't mean much when it's slight and the band's sound changes with each new album.
I mean, you could also argue that WL/WH is their "worst" (Squeeze is not a VU album), though. I love the garage rock sound of it, though.
fking this.
Yea it's a good album but it isn't better than any of their albums from their golden age.
Obscured is better too imo.
fking contrarians
Loved Crime, loved Acoustic, loved Axl, sorta dropped off after Clarity
>Pavement
Nah.
they were getting better, they peaked in 75 with wywh, then they started falling off with the wall
>(Squeeze is not a VU album)
When will this meme end?
>>>reddit
>>>rolling stone magazine
REEEEEEEEEEEE
But that's wrong
They peaked in 72 with Obscured by Clouds
hahahhahah
You hit the nail on the head OP!
Actually they stayed pretty decent up to Dark Side of The moon but they were pretty mediocre after Syd left!
Other bands that got progressively worse would be Black Sabbath who nose dived after Volume 4. The Who after Quadrophenia and let's face it Led Zepplin NEVER had a good album!
Correct on all counts but why are you talking like a retard
Probably because he's mocking your pleb opinions
James Blake. He will never top the s/t
Because it takes one to know one!
But those opinions are correct
Because it takes one to know one.........
can I save this?
>they were pretty mediocre after Syd left!
This is wrong
>Led Zepplin NEVER had a good album!
This is wrong.
Nice try though
>I have never listened to Obscured by Clouds
ok
Hey grandpa! The nurse has been looking for you! It's time for your medication and daily nap!
modest mouse
Hey son! Your babysitter has been looking for you! It's time for your snack and daily nap!
I have and it's really forgettable dreck. It's subpar compared to their other soundtracks.
Will both of you faggots just stop
Hot opinion fucko
The title track is way ahead of its time.
They peaked at album 3 or 4, then its all been downhill.
How so?
Not an argument. Please leave the thread.
Radiohead peaked on their 4th album tho
But A Moon Shaped Pool is not their 4th album though
Pixies
Motörhead
...
they've 'peaked' twice so far
>if Reddit or Rolling Stone likes it I can't like it for le patrician cred
I wonder if Sup Forumstants in 20-30 years will hate everything from the present that Pitchfork gives a good review.
most pitchfork music is trash anyway
>those synths
>that beat
>that restrained, tasteful guitar
>the bass
It sounds very futuristic for 1972.
Guess you've never heard Wonderwall music
That sounds nothing like Obscured by Clouds.
How so?
>3 or 4
>not 2
Get a load of this negro
Nah they kinda stayed the same forever
Whether that was good or bad
DM is infinitely better than st. anger
They could of at least tried something different
Thats how you get St. Anger
That's also how you get Spirit of Eden, Adore, Kid A, 13, The White Album...
I kinda like St Anger for how retarded it is. hilarious hearing wet mattress snare
The Depreciation Guild
Nah because Loaded is the best VU album
I don't think I've seen a thread full of worse opinions before
>pic
they saved themselves with EWBAITE and White album but they were on a downward path starting after pinkerton
>they saved themselves with EWBAITE and White album
Talk about worse opinions
They peaked at Meddle imo but Wish You Were Here and Animals are fantastic records. I also think The Division Bell is kind of underrated. Pink Floyd's live bootlegs in 1970-72 like From Oblivion are far better than any of their studio work.
>implying EWBAITE and White are worse than fucking Hurley and raditude
I'm just saying they got better
