I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Singapore is a fairly major city-state

Street races usually take place in underdeveloped parts of the city that are usually not built up or active anyway. Valencia is an example of that. The whole area has really fallen apart since the last race. The New York race that was supposed to happen was actually in New Jersey. Monaco is the exception rather than the rule when it comes to street circuits. We will never see a Paris GP driving past the Eifel tower, or a NY race through times square or anything like that.

Melbourne's different than your normal street circuit though, its much more similar to Montreal. Both are isolated roads all times of the year anyway, and they're much easier to section of for their GPs. Something like Singapore is very different in that respect.

Okay yes, that's impossible.

Changing the circuit and stuff is all doable but changing the surrounding roads would be a political nightmare with the very vocal people of Zandvoort who all hate change, besides that there is no room to do that, the dunes near the circuit is protected ground and goes along the entire north side of that road until you hit Haarlem. To the south lies Zandvoort itself which is sorta hilly and hard to build in and it already has retarded roads because of that.

Perhaps it can actually take a steady stream of visitor cars if they close off Zandvoort Beach up to about Parnassia Beach though. The road is quite used to high amounts of traffic in the summers anyway.
