I'm kind of working on new stuff but kind of not. I don't know.
I don't really stick with one genre much but a mix of noisy indie rock and electronic more prog rock/metal rooted stuff. Some eastern-esque shoegaze too.
You're gay I fucking hate your shitty music and seeing your fucking soundcloud triggers me

That wasn't very supportive yike!

Visuals do a lot, even tabbed away though, it paints itself. I like the vocal variation going on, feels very natural and not overproduced. Very aggressive.
I really like your hi-hat work going on, I don't know if it was sampled or programmed, either way. Has a kind of vaporwavey edge to it without being obnoxious or over the top, really nice touch imo. I don't have much context on the genre though so I'm just going off impressions of what I'm hearing. Sounds fresh.
I like it, I'm huge on odd time signatures, not for the bragging or complexity of it, but just because I love beats that shouldn't be, that do. Just jagged and discordant, you do it really well. I have one track uh, hangman, where I went into 23/16 for a while at like 3:35ish, and the rest of the track is in 13/8 and 5/4 mostly. soundcloud.com/cut_the_kids_in_half/nyx It's really neat the way you do it and I don't see too many asymmetrical time signatures on here so that's a nice listen.
What d id you use for the percussionwork around 2:30? I love how organic it sounds. Your sampling is great too, they definitely complement the soundscape going on, not a single sound feels out of place, that's impressive.
I really like Hangman. That's a great example of odd meter used in the right way.
I wasn't really trying to brag or flex the fact that I made a track that was 31/16, I just figured the question would come up.

Oh yeah, didn't think or assume you were, I make note of it too often, it gives neat and worthwhile context sometimes, and thanks! You make great stuff. Definitely worth the follow, I love a lot of the stuff I hear in these threads but it's rarer to find music I can kind of sympathize to? Like more than just enjoy, understand and appreciate for what it's conveying? I think. Keep it up

His music isnt very good. I've decided I wont support him conventionally. Hurtful words will push him to make better music. I know from experience
Hudson Stewart
Yeah but make your criticism more eloquent and biting because otherwise you look like a silly kid and he's gonna just brush it off
(I'm that guy btw I know I don't make good music but I'm working on it. I'm just trying to release mid to high-effort tunes until I get better at everything.)
nice and mellow, I like it. I particularly enjoyed "Home" Goddamn, this sound design is amazing, one of my favorites I've found in these threads! "Atmospheric Beasts" got me fucked up.
I make algorithmic music in MATLAB. The YouTube videos are mostly of quantum walks, relating to my thesis for graduate school in mathematics. Every Wednesday I upload a new file from my archives to soundcloud. My next bandcamp release will be related to a doppler algorithm I created.
trusty reminds me of eccojams
I've been digging those beat videos on youtube this stuff is good
I think you got something going with the lush, shoegaze-y guitar soundscapes The more straight forward rock elements are lacking though, needs some vocals, or some more engaging drumming to really have anything to latch on to. this is interesting, I like how you manipulated the beat. However the compression on the vocals doesn't really vibe imo. Needs a more bass. really nice stuff. I can get down with this. I like how spacious and floating it is. Very relaxing. The record scratching section is lacking any real impact though, I'd punch up the drums a lot, add some bass. this is pretty great. reminds me a lot of the beats milo uses. Really chill, lo-fi cool stuff. Really great samples too, love the organic elements.

This is really nice composition, better string samples would make this really pleasant. Cool theme too really makes me think of some sort of wizard from an old sierra game
Wow, underrated, this is very impressive. The percussion is done very well and subtle, a couple of the string sounds aren't great but overall this is excellent!
>industrial rock >coldwave >bedroom goth >post-punk

>a couple of the string sounds aren't great Yeah im working on it, usually compression issues and limiting related. I always loose fidelity in the high-end somehow.
soundcloud.com/eyezenburg I like this but you could never ever sell out unless you go full vaporwave
Lyrics dont matter, get some flow going on man
Thomas Sullivan
The mixing feels a bit abrupt, it's like the the instruments are fighting eachother, maybe that's what you're going for, but I'd try to adjust the volumes a little.
really like the vocal style, it works great with the music, but ya need to hit more of the notes. That's literally the only thing stopping it being a fantastic song
v dope track, could do with another instrument taking up the high frequencies though, there's nowt going on up there
felt the verses could hit the beat a bit harder? otherwise really love this song, great lyrics, great music
