Yeah I liked The Ghostbusters movie also. Hudson was kind of a weird addition to the cast. I don't know if Murphy would have added anything to the movie. He might have taken away from the rest of the cast by grandstanding and showing up for shoots coked up out of his mind.

I secretly hope he is being deliberately extreme to pander to the republican base and will act more moderately as president. Also it would be a breath of fresh air for someone who doesn't have backers to answer to. Even if it is shitty right wing extremism for a term, he will set a precedent for independent politicians from outside the traditional power structure. And if nothing else it may lead to people abandoning the two party system.
