9001. What passes for basketball TV coverage these days
The thing is, I don't even regard baseball as a real sport.
For me it's just a game.
We used to play a similar game in elementary school (basically same rules, just without the bat, we would just throw a larger sized ball)
It's mind boggling to me that in the US there are people who are unironically making millions playing this children's game professionally....

Tbh I genuinely enjoy them all and recognize that they are apples and oranges.
The NFL, big college football games, and televised basketball have been severely marred by elongated commercial breaks.

Baseball
Baseball is absolute garbage. Luckily going by modern day trends, basebore is the most likely sport of the big four to be phased out of the American mainstream in the next couple hundred years.
Actually, that might be NFL for different reasons.
1. Basketball - fun sport to play and watch, though in NBA the games mean nothing and the players often give no effort until the playoffs.
2. Ice Hockey - probably fun to play like roller hockey, but watching it something doesn't feel right - too messy and out of control and all the goals look the same and are quite underwhelming
3. Baseball - I imagine it's comfy to watch in person, nice relaxed atmosphere. Obviously very slow and you need to have the right mentality to enjoy it.
4. Handegg - Highlights look good but sitting through an entire game is tortuous. Impenetrable rules and with the helmets and padding all the players lose their identity

Not really. Maybe, if you find the watching experience as a whole "torturous" then yeah, you're not really in the right mentality to pick the rules.
In my opinion, commercials are the biggest reason NFL will never catch on with the world.
Sup, Gunther.
If you don't rank baseball 1 or maybe 2, you're wrong
BT Sport is quite expensive. They show shit like UFC/Baseball/Basketball/Serie A/Ligue 1. If you are into that shit like I am its pretty worth it.
I prefer it over Sky Sports since only La Liga interests me on there. Im not a big Cricket head nor do I give a fuck about Handegg outside of spee memes.
Plus BT has Champions League and FA Cup coverage.

i reckon if baseball was on TV i would prefer it, since i like having cricket on in the background as i listen to music or play video games . the worst is basketball. when the scoreboard is going up every 10 seconds, there's no joy in a score/point/goal
Sky Sports: NFL
BT Sports: MLB and NBA

>I don't like it so it isn't a sport
Also you are ignorant as hell if you think just throwing a ball is similar to hitting a small ball coming at different movements and speeds with a stick. Hitting a baseball is very difficult.
and how is it mind boggling? Attendance is probably like 60 million for a season total. Add TV deals and there you go.

Why is that tho? almost 200 games for each team every year makes it easier.
This argument doesn't work. Is it not impressive that teams can attract that many spectators with that many home games?
I took and English girl I met back in college to a NY Rangers game. She loved it (maily because it was similar to soccer she said) took her to three games was friend zoned hard and haven't heard from her in a long time
