Ma Po isn't too bad, some of the pre-made sauces like LKK work on a weeknight, but I'll do it from scratch if I'm off or it's a weekend. Tofu done right should eat up the flavor of whatever it's cooked in.
It's a gimmick I guess- I cook, but I like trying things from other countries and cultures. In a way it's like tracing the lineage of food across time and borders. Appeals to the history side of me I guess. Desserts specifically give me ideas for things to make at gatherings and other places, or just as a treat. Doesn't gotta be anything fancy, it just has to taste good.
I'm not Survivorman or anything at that level, but I can hold my own in nature with light equipment and no GPS. Most of my travels have been in the lower 48 US states and Canada north to the middle of Hudson's Bay. I'll likely be exploring the rest of my backyard before going abroad. It'll give me time to save up money but keep me busy too.
I had some success with G&W, not much at the tournament level, but I always did well in friendlies or against the group of buddies I played with. Didn't get too many 9s, but they always came out at the right times.
Shulk got the shaft in 4, went from being rangey and good damage to being out ranged and out damaged by Ike and the others. He's still good, but trying to play him without much thought and Monado Arts is asking for a loss.
